Staying at Dickinson College is like something out of an old time college movie. The buildings and grounds are simply beautiful. Bring your camera as you will encounter many photo ops! I was a little disappointed in the quality of the rooms, as I expected a finer quality decor as well as a better mattress for $300 a night. Really,... More

Dickinson College's campus is within the city of Carlisle. It is a beautiful place within an otherwise gloom city. They entire campus area is clean and well kept. It is patrolled efficiently by the Carlisle PD and has minimal crime. There is hardly every any issues within the campus itself. The campus is not secluded, anyone can drive though. In... More

Our daughter and son-in-law graduated from Dickinson College. It is an excellent school, a lovely campus and all set in an historic and charming town. Parents will be reassured to learn it is a safe campus and safe town. Prospective students will be pleased to learn there are plenty of watering holes and fun restaurants, so go.I

Dickinson is truly an American treasure. One of the "Pennsylvania Ivies" and one of the first schools in the young republic, this gem of a campus has everything that you want in your small-town colleges. Bring your checkbook, though, the tuition will get you!

Within the quaint town of Carlisle is the Dickinson campus. The college has a very rich history integrated with the beginning of the United States. The founder was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and the college is named after a signer of the Constitution. The campus is a mixture of beautiful old and modern buildings.

We visited our granddaughter, a first year student, at Dickinson, our first visit. She is happy there and making an effort to go to many of the activities offered by the college. Lots of challenging courses to choose from, a great athletic center, and a really beautiful campus. I liked its location in the downtown area, so students and visitors... More

Just had the pleasure of attending a "Saturday visit" at Dickinson. What a beautiful school with a very rich and diverse history. Big on global and local sustainability and making the students well rounded as they embrace their education and heir future. Duly impressed. The students here seem very happy and you do not have to be a part of... More

Great place to take pictures and walk around. Lots of interesting backgrounds. Nice, red Adirondack chairs to lounge in. Pretty flowers.

I have been involved with Dickinson College for many years and it continues improve. Their international focus is a big plus and the campus is incredibly beautiful. It is an honor to recommend it to family, friends, and colleagues for their high school age children.

The campus has beautiful old limestone buildings and a very well appointed library. The gym and weight training rooms are wonderful !
