A "Must-Do" for the whole family while visiting PA Dutch...

A "Must-Do" for the whole family while visiting PA Dutch Country! Ride like the Amish in our horse drawn carriages and buggies. You will visit a private Amish farm (Monday-Saturday only) and see the different farm animals, and learn about Amish life from our local Amish and Mennonite drivers. Private rides are our specialty. We have been privileged to witness many engagements on our Buggy Ride; and even a young man invited his girl to his senior prom by surprising her with a sign at our farm! Gift certificates are available. WE LOVE GROUPS! Our larger carriages can accommodate up to 20 passengers and groups love us.

Open 7 days a week, year round (weather permitting)

My family took a buggy ride at Aaron & Jessica's as part of the Amish Supersaver tour given by Plain and Fancy Farm (they are located at the same address on the farm's property). We reserved a farmland bus tour, the Amish Experience movie, visit to the Amish country homestead and one room schoolhouse and the buggy ride all for... More

I, my husband and our two sons visited PA this past September. We have been all over the U.S. and PA was such a delight. We took a buggy ride at Aaron & Jessica's. Chris was our driver and he made our experience so wonderful. He was so nice and patient. He allowed my boys to ride up front with... More

A lovely way to learn more about the Amish and enjoy the scenic Lancaster countryside. We took the 3 mile 'The Cookie Run' buggy ride. Our Amish driver, John, was delightful. He drove us though his farm, shared his family history of land ownership through the generations and introduced us to his 12 yr old granddaughter who sold homemade cookies,... More

We purchased an upgrade buggy ride. Very informative. Our driver was Amish and very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. We stopped a several farms and bought home-made root beer, lemonade, and snacks made by the children on the farms. Learned a lot and would definitely do this again.

I did the dairy farm private tour with my wife and friend. Pricier than going with a group but worth it I think. Ruben was our driver and we loved his humor and wit. He explained all the ins and outs of the farm. What they can use and can't use. Mostly cants he said. Ha-ha. We tried to keep... More

We chose this unique and interesting way to learn about the Amish, their history, beliefs and lifestyle. We did learn some things, but we felt that we could have learned more- I felt that we did not learn enough. We felt that our driver and guide was not expressive nor detailed enough in answer to our questions regarding these questions.... More

Decided after seeing this on internet that we would take the nice ride. The gentleman we had was Amish and very funny, cordial and willing to answer questions. Brought us to a nice farm where he explained the Amish mans business which was raising cows for Milk which they sold to Hershey.

We thoroughly enjoyed this buggy ride. Our rider had a farm in the area and he took us there - it was beautiful. His daughter had baked cookies and pretzels for us and lemonade (the best ever) for a nominal price. Our Amish driver was very knowledgeable, and friendly. The ride was about 45 minutes long. I highly recommend this.

With several trips to choose from, all with reasonable prices, I chose the farm tour. Very interesting. I was surprised to see that the Amish dairy procedures are the same as the "English." I grew up spending summers on my Uncle's dairy farm. Our driver was funny and the horses are obviously well cared for. Well worth the money.

Sunday is limited in the tours available. Nice short ride on a country road, saw some Amish folks in their yards playing... would suggest going on another day of the week so you can see the farm being worked.
