We took a bunch of students there this past week and after touring around the Amish Experience grounds, we proceeded onto the Buggy Ride. The way the people treated us there was with so much respect and was so pleasant that it made us forget all about our cell phones and all our technologies. The horses were all well taking... More

We did a private farm tour, and the kids loved it! Our guide was very friendly, an informative conversationalist engaging both us and our children. We were really happy that we had the opportunity to spend an hour on this tour.

Aaron & Jessica's Buggy Rides is the ONLY truly Amish owned and run buggy ride in all of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Your ride starts at the Plain & Fancy Complex, between Bird-in-Hand and Intercourse, along Route 340 (The Old Philadelphia Pike). You don't go out onto the highway. Instead you travel Amish trails, and pathways. On the ride called "The... More

This was a surprise I arranged for my Wife on our 40th Anniversary. Do to work schedule constraints, it was also done literally in the 11th hour. Luckily, I was assisted by an absolutely wonderful coordinator (Laura). She made all the arrangements for us to do the longer ride/tour, and helped suggest places to eat and stay afterwards – once... We arrived and got on our buggy straight away, our guide Levi asked all where we were from then off we went, our guide was very talkative,he was very funny with a very likeable sense of humour and made the journey fun. Even though it was cold, the buggy inside was lovely and warm as we rode, any questions asked by us were answered... More

Having the option of the town tour and the farm tour, we decided we could see the town on our own and opted for the farm. We all agreed afterward that it was the right choice. Our guide/driver Levi was friendly and informative. He took us past the orchards, pointed out local businesses, told us about Amish and Mennonite living... More

We decided to brave the rainy weather with a buggy ride. Our guide (I forget her name) was cheerful and eager to answer our questions. She admitted no license was needed to drive a buggy, but handled it well. Because it was Sunday, the only tour available was a half-hour through the Amish country - we did not get to... More

Levi greeted us with our own mini horse and buggy (which means an authentic one). Took us to the great farms and explained everything with clarity and understanding. I normally don't like tour guides but obviously this was a great exception!

Nice ride through Amish country. I enjoyed the scenery...beautiful farms. Our tour guide was very informative. I loved the pretzels and root beer that I purchased at the farm.

We were pleased with the buggy ride we got from John. We chose the farm tour, and he took us to his farm and showed us his milking cows. He gave us lots of information about how the Amish live and commented about our surroundings as we passed them in the buggy. My wife, son and I were in a... More
