Was a good buggy ride and informative. Our tour guide was very friendly and funny. Went to an Amish farm and took a tour of there dairy farm and was able to buy fresh baked cookies and root beer. There root beer comes in glass jugs! Going to use mine for vase on table to remind me of our visit.

Really enjoyed our buggy ride around Bird in Hand to see an Amish Farm first hand. Thanks to our driver Chris, he was very friendly and informative

Week took the buggy tour on a Sunday, not realizing that there is not much you can see due to the Amish' day of rest. That being said our Buggy driver Susan, I believe her name was, gave us an excellent tour of what she could and was very informative about the Amish.

We loved this!!! A little pricey, but worth every $$. They plopped the 3 kids right up front with the driver and off we went. Our driver, Levi was great and full of information. The Amish Farm was quite a treat and very educational for the children.

We took the Amish Farm tour. Each buggy can take upto 4-6 persons, and we were joined by a family on our tour. Our carriage driver was Amish and he was extremely friendly and knew a lot about the locality. We took a tour of one rather large and unorthodox farm run by an Amish Family. My only disappointment was... More

Hi Sam..... you did take a tour through a traditional Amish farm. WE ARE NOT... "the pioneers". The notion that no electricity is used by Amish people is a media myth. Some townships require sewer pumps, so an electricity is necessary. Other people use solar power with solar panels and batteries. This enables them to use necessary items such as... More

First, the brochure we had that was found more than one place in town, had a price $3 cheaper than they charged us. They said it was an old brochure. Well, they need to collect all the brochures in town then. Our Amish driver was nice but provided no tour information except when we asked questions. Even when we asked... More

Hi Sarah, thanks for your input. There are no farms we visit that have electricity. We don't know what you may have been viewing. Almost all Amish farms in the area have telephones. Would you have a name for the driver who you mention used tobacco? I would like to address that immediately. It is inappropriate and unnecessary and absolutely... More

My family and I (4 adults and 2 children) went to this establishment on the recommendation of our hotel. When we arrived, there were about 20 people already waiting for their buggy rides. Everyone was told that it was a "20 minute wait". Don't you believe what they tell you. The 20 minute wait turned into an hour, when out... More

Hi Don.... we remember you, specifically. When we have a group visiting... we put on extra wagons so as not to delay other customers. You were not delayed by any means. What you did was approach the nice Mennonite man who signs you for your ride and ask to be put on a ride ahead not only of the group... More

Be prepared; this review will elicit a rude, combative response from the buggy management, just as every other negative review has. Wish we had read those reviews BEFORE taking our tour. Where to start... Aaron and Jessica's Buggy Rides was the biggest waste of time and money of our vacation. I'm STILL kicking myself that we took this tour. The... More

Dear Traps: Plain people in Lancaster county are not the "pioneers". Many have this conception, but we use ice boxes, freezers, gas stoves, have bathrooms and have many other more modern things just as you. We have seven routes and twenty options which visit four farms, numerous local stands, shops, water powered mill and more. It is a wonderment to... More

We joined several others on this eventful ride. It was a nice leisurely ride with a bit of history. We visited a dairy farm and bought some homemade root beer and cookies from the Amish family who owned the farm. Later in the ride it started to rain, and the driver pulled over and lowered the side panels to keep... More

Glad our innkeeper, Barb Musser in New Providence recommended this. Our driver, Levi, was funny and knowledgeable. Nice stop midway at Amish Farm for fresh homemade lemonade and cookies!
