The one hour farm tour was both interesting and fun. The stop at a working Amish dairy farm included the opportunity to visit cows, mules, pigs, and a horse in the barn along with an overview of the milk production operation at the farm. Homemade cookies, lemonade, and root beer are available for purchase prior to boarding the buggy for... More

We signed up for the farm tour. Our driver took us to his farm and gave us a wonderful tour. He was very chatty and we learned a lot about the Amish during the hour long tour. Our kids loved. Well worth the money. Cash only or pay with credit card at the country store.

We visited Lancaster this weekend and took this ride on Sunday. Since it was a Sunday we couldn't go through the Amish farms but it was still a nice ride. However, the tour guide spent 1/2 of the trip talking to us about the tv show, "Amish Mafia" and how he had been on the show. It was a very... More

Ride was wonderful and less bumpy than you would expect. However, the guide didn't provide much information and when he did, you couldn't really hear him over the buggy noise.

Party of 13 from seniors to children. Very short wait. Did the 1 hour ride, really did not seem it though. Visited a farm, this is what took up most of tour instead of seeing other areas. Guide was friendly, not really sure if she was Amish even though she was dressed that way. She was very knowledgeble and answered... More

This place is classified as Amish owned and operated and our tour guide said its not true. False advertising. When we arrived we said that we did not want the cookie tour. We said we wanted the town tour or the farm tour. Apparently they did not feel there was enough people for our tour so they put us with... More

Aaron and Jessica's ride is a family owned business. A photo of Jessica and her father is on the web page. Lancaster county is home to many plain church groups all with similar origins.. Church standards vary as some for instance will allow photos and others not. You in your comment neglect to mention any other plain church groups. Old... More

We have been there in a spring break with our kids and enjoyed a lot. We use the one hour tour. It is very touristic but looks like the best way to experience this area.

We took a bunch of students there this past week and after touring around the Amish Experience grounds, we proceeded onto the Buggy Ride. The way the people treated us there was with so much respect and was so pleasant that it made us forget all about our cell phones and all our technologies. The horses were all well taking... More
