Stopped by Rumspringa Brewing Company as I am a big fan of local brews, With high hopes, I brought my 2 growlers to fill. My friend and I started with sample glasses($2 for a 4 ounce glass) of the Old Order APA. It was flat and without much flavor. Moved on to the Red Caboose Ale, then the Harvest Gold... More

Here's my blunt review for this place, to give you some honest insight amongst a lot of the negative reviews: Let me preface by saying I started going here on a whim a while back. One of my friends heard about an obscure bar/wine gallery apparently owned by the PA Renaissance Faire which sold Amish beer, so we decided to... More

Its worth a stop. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Went upstairs to try the beer first. Suggestion is to try to go an hour or so before they close - less busy. Didn't opt for any food since I could only see that things were heated up in a microwave so we decided to pass on that. Maybe pretzels... More

We did not get a welcoming feeling in the main floor wine tasting area. There were bottles of wine lined up on the wine bar and you told the two girls behind the counter what flavor you wanted to taste. At no time were we asked our likes or preferences nor were any wines suggested to us. We went upstairs... More

We stopped by the Brewery during a trip to Amish country. Went upstairs to do a flight of their beers, none of the beers really stood out, most were drinkable - a couple not. It wasn't busy on a Friday afternoon and the staff was attentive and friendly. Not sure we'd stop again, but were glad that we at least... More

We ordered the sampler and found 14.00 for 8 beers to be more than affordable. The beers were light and refreshing. We liked the ginger beer the best. The tasting room has a light menu. We ordered the fried cheese curds and found them to be light, not greasy at all, and tasty. Sadly Rumspringa is associated with Mount Hope... More

A beer and wine place in the middle of the Amish country- the downstairs has exposed barn beams - drinking in a true barn. The staff was friendly but not pushy. Samples samples samples

My husband and I took a day trip out to Bird in Hand and stopped by this place. It's neat looking from the outside and has a nice atmosphere inside. We started out downstairs in the wine area. I used to work at a winery doing tastings, so I know things get busy, but that is no excuse for rudeness.... More

The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The food leaves something to be desired. I recommend you eat before you go, but definitely worth a stop to try what they have to drink.

I have been here a few times (normally twice a year) and each time is great! I love the wine choices & my husband is more of the beer drinker so there is something for both of us! The snack choices were good, I haven't been back to try the newest stuff added to the menu but hopefully I will... More
