We really liked our driver who explained a lot about the Amish community and the differences between the Mennonites and the Amish. That part was great. We really didn't get to see much from the buggy ride that we couldn't see from the car. We took the 45 minute trip and probably could have gotten the same experience with one... More

We took a private hour long buggy ride that stopped at both an Amish home and a bakery. Our driver/guide was so sweet and informative! He answered all of our questions and even made an extra stop for us. The Amish children at the home brought us into their basement where they were selling homemade things (blankets, clothes, hair clips,... More

It was a busy day for them, & I guess they wanted to milk it. The house woman were running the buggies as well, & it was quite clear that they were poor guides. Spoke only when spoken too. Made the ride dull & boring. I was expecting to learn a bit when going through the village

Very nice people. We took the forty five minute ride and it was informative and enjoyable. Don't forget to pet the goats.

Nice ride into one of the farms and the driver was very informative. Nice ride and the horses were well behaved and the buggy comfortable.

Abe's wasn't open on Sunday, so my family and I went on a buggy ride with another company and it was very disappointing. They told me on the phone that there would never be more than 7 people in a carriage, but when we got there they jammed 10 people into it. The next morning we went to Abe's and... More

So we went to PA for a day trip to enjoy some of the culture and food. We started off by taking a a buggy ride tour of the local scenery. Well worth the trip especially to see how spoiled we all are when it comes to basics that we all take for granted like AC and cars. I will... More

Found this place on Yelp and wanted to give it a shot. Came here with two friends on a Saturday afternoon. As you enter, there's place for parking your car. You need to buy tickets at the booth where you have 4 options - 2 mile/20 min/$12, 3 mile/30 min/$15, 4 mile/45 min/ $20 and a longer tour. I suggest... More

I am so glad we went to Abe's for our Buggy Ride. Upon arriving we parked our car and they had a playground for kids to play on while waiting for their ride. We were the first family there that day. I asked the nice lady behind the counter which ride would be the best to take a 2 year... More

Abe’s Buggy Rides were recommended to us. They were happy to accommodate us, even though we arrived right at closing on Saturday. Unlike other rides, where you ride in an open wagon, these are real buggies. Since there were only two of us, we got to ride in a small buggy built for two in the back. Our driver and... More
