I am so glad we went to Abe's for our Buggy Ride. Upon arriving we parked our car and they had a playground for kids to play on while waiting for their ride. We were the first family there that day. I asked the nice lady behind the counter which ride would be the best to take a 2 year... More

Abe’s Buggy Rides were recommended to us. They were happy to accommodate us, even though we arrived right at closing on Saturday. Unlike other rides, where you ride in an open wagon, these are real buggies. Since there were only two of us, we got to ride in a small buggy built for two in the back. Our driver and... More

I have taken so many buggy rides over the years I can not even count them. I have tried probably everyone of them in Lancaster County. I would say this is probably one of the most expensive ones out there. The driver was friendly and informative, but I have found others just as informative for much less money. If money... More

My wife and I spent over an hour with Ben today on a private tour. We really enjoyed the conversation and the opportunity to visit both an Amish bakery and home. Our visit led us to meeting another of Ben's Amish family which added to the experience. This was a great way to start our day.

We go to abes every year and it never gets old. Our kids really enjoy asking the driver questions and I enjoy the fact that it is a private buggy ride with just our family so that they can ask away. It is a great value and a lot of fun. make sure to get some feed to feed the... More

This was a wonderful experience on a beautiful day. Our driver, Irv, grew up in the area and was very informative. We really enjoyed that they take only your group on a ride. In this case , my husband and me. We took the 45 minute tour, and were able to get out in the country. Highly recommend this experience... More

Despite prior trips to the area, we’d never tried an Amish buggy ride and really didn’t know what to expect. The car entry to Abe’s looks like a typical residential driveway and easy to miss. In the backyard is a thin but long lot, with space for perhaps 10 cars. A little further back are some farm animals and numerous... More

Took this ride since family of 4 could get private buggy. I did not like the larger buggies I had seen elsewhere. Driver was ok, not great like other reviewers had posted, but not awful either. I actually learned more later in day at amishvillage from a non Amish tour guide. Took the 30 min ride. He took us to... More

We just took the short tour - 2 miles, twenty minutes. Price was $10 for adults and $5 for kids. The guide was very pleasant and well informed. She was raised Amish, but no longer follows those traditions. Each family gets to have their own private buggy ride. You are not grouped with strangers. After the ride, the children were... More
