This was a wonderful experience on a beautiful day. Our driver, Irv, grew up in the area and was very informative. We really enjoyed that they take only your group on a ride. In this case , my husband and me. We took the 45 minute tour, and were able to get out in the country. Highly recommend this experience... More

Despite prior trips to the area, we’d never tried an Amish buggy ride and really didn’t know what to expect. The car entry to Abe’s looks like a typical residential driveway and easy to miss. In the backyard is a thin but long lot, with space for perhaps 10 cars. A little further back are some farm animals and numerous... More

Took this ride since family of 4 could get private buggy. I did not like the larger buggies I had seen elsewhere. Driver was ok, not great like other reviewers had posted, but not awful either. I actually learned more later in day at amishvillage from a non Amish tour guide. Took the 30 min ride. He took us to... More

We just took the short tour - 2 miles, twenty minutes. Price was $10 for adults and $5 for kids. The guide was very pleasant and well informed. She was raised Amish, but no longer follows those traditions. Each family gets to have their own private buggy ride. You are not grouped with strangers. After the ride, the children were... More

There were 8 of us on the ride, five adults and 3 kids. The Buggy Driver Ben was great. He gave us very detailed information on the Amish way of life and his family and their part in the community. The ride took us buy many farms and the setting was beautiful. They are very friendly and their price is very reasonable. They had a... More

had a very nice time on this nice little adventure through Pennsylvania Amish country. Guide was professional and well versed in local history. Really nice way to pass an hour or two in a day to this beautiful and scenic land.

It was our guide's first day at Abe's and she could have been a little more informative about questions we had. Overall it was a good experience for the kids, but a longer tour should be recommended for adults. Do not get the home made Root Beer. It reminded me of the smell of chew tobacco spit. We had our... Erv drove us on a 3 mile ride. It was me and four young girls. One got to ride with Erv and help with the horse. Very informative ride, very sweet guy. He answered all our questions and was so sweet to us. Worth every penny.

We had a great time on this ride throughout the Amish countryside. Our driver was very knowledgable and willing to talk about Amish ways. The kids had a great time at the petting zoo afterwards too. It was just us too, this company does not group strangers together on the same ride like some companies.

At first I thought it was too expensive; however, the 3 of us had the really comfy buggy to ourselves, not to mention a driver with a sense of humor. The 1 hour ride was the longest available that day and it was time enough to take in the scenery ( lovely and peaceful) and have our many questions answered... More
