I liked everything in Yachats, it is a great little town. Fuel is a bit more but your on the coast. We did't mind the higher cost. Your too busy walking on the coast and enjoying your family.

Take your time to explore all the wonders God created here! You'll be fascinated as you feel your chest pounding with each crashing wave as your eyes feast on the beauty of the ocean as it dances between the rocky coastline.

We walked on several beaches on Hwy 101 and each was different. Some were longer than others, some rockier, some had more tide pools and shorebirds, and driftwood.

From a great farmers and crafters market, to ocean "blow holes" to rocky and sandy beaches to trails and great eateries, the Yachats coastline is a wonderful place to visit for a day or a week or... :)

A very relaxing and beautiful region in Oregon. The sunsets were superb. Unspoilt coastline , fantastic rock formations, the sound of the sea , the waves everything is just so natural ,clean and beautiful. If you are lucky , you might even see a whale in the distance like we did.

Sorry I live here, but have lived in other states by other coastlines and in other countries. But there is an awesome drama that plays out differently depending on tides, fog rolling in or out, blow holes that spray water to touch the sky. Mountains come to the ocean, trees formed by wind. Come join us in appreciating this beauty

Love the coast any time of year.As long as we have an ocean view we are totally satisfied. Would stop again but try a different restaurant.

Beautiful, powerful, amazing. We were lucky enough to see the whales. Plenty of places to sit and watch the ocean.

I recently drove the northern coast in Oregon and spent the night in this small coastal town. I was impressed with the fireworks; for a small town it was a great show! The next morning I walked along the coastline, admired the views, listened to the crashing waves and screaming sea gulls. Quite a few people had camped out in... More

The coast around Yachats has something for everyone. At low tide the beach just south of the Yachats River is exposed and there are tide-pools galore at the south end of the beach. On the north side of the river there is a walking trail from Yachats State Park to the wide beach at the north end of town. From... More
