Love the Oregon coast

I live on picturesque Cape Cod, but have to say, the Oregon coast is breathtaking! Loved touring the area, especially the tide pools at low tide! Fantastic fun.

Loved hiking the paved trail and then climbing on the volcanic flows and looking in the tide pools. Sitting on benches overlooking the ocean or the bay was perfect. It was nice to see the town busy with people enjoying the restaurants and natural beauty of the area and also nice to find the Oregon Coast to still be unspoiled... More

Nice mix of Rock and Beach. Beautiful sunsets. Can watch surfers, seals and whales. View Pelicans and great viewpoint.

Wave hitting shore for a great show. The paths were good and resting benches are provided, great to watch sunset or eat breakfast. A little windy

I didn't think anything could come close to the California coast around Big Sur, but this place does. Not as rugged, but more accessible, and there are lots of places to stop/eat/stay, yet it hasn't been run over with commercialism--there's not a fast food restaurant on every corner.

The beach is huge and Yachats is a under visited location. Beach was clean and we had it to ourselves.

We travelled through Oregon from Portland to Northern California. The coastline was phenomenal. Our favorite locations was Yachats. Beautiful friendly town, good restaurants, friendly and clean hotels. We plan to visit Yachats again.

Short shelter trail starting from caping ground drive is one of the best on coast line. The view you get is those which nothing can beat. Must see for sure..

This was an amazing trip on motorcycles. Great views with places to stop and take pictures or just take in the beauty of the coast.

The town is very small, but boy the views are great! There are several places to stop and visit the beach! Take a drive on 101 south and you won't be disappointed! The Heceta Lighthouse is maybe 15 miles and well worth it! We enjoyed stopping at the viewpoint just past the lighthouse for some great pictures also!
