Fabulous view

Well worth a stop to explore tide pools, watch the surf, and perhaps some whales. Take a lunch or coffee and stay awhile for the fabulous view!

Wow what a view the Ocean is just feet away. Beautiful views of Yachats beach. Nice green lawn area and public restrooms. Downtown is just a block away. Walk along the Yachats bay to downtown for great eats. Try Heidi's Italian if you want some great food

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at a home right next this park. It's not really a park as you simply "park" your car then enjoy the views of the ocean. Plenty of parking available. WARNING! When you get close to the water - be advised that it can be dangerous. Be aware of what's called "sneaker waves." They... More

As of today I have now driven the 101 for most of the Oregon Coast line and this is one of my favourite of all the Ocean Views! Yachats is a great little town with a few great places to eat and this park right on the water with all the rocks for families to walk around and discover when... More

We went there everyday to watch the sunset. It is a very popular place and is always crowded. It is peaceful and beautiful..

This area is used for many events in Yachats. The locals are friendly and it is a good location, close to most of the hotels here.

Great beaches, whale watching, salmon fishing, razor clamping and beach combing. Great storm watching and the 804 trail. There is a lot to do so bring some bread to feed the seagulls. I almost forgot that there are surfers that try their skill on the breaking waves. One you visit you will want to return again and again.

Even if you're just driving through yachats on the way to someplace else I recommend a stop here. What you will find is a great place to picnic lunch with the family, public restrooms and a wonderful view of the ocean. Very nice spot seconds off 101 but far enough you won't hear any traffic noise.

This community park is best experienced during the dawn and dusk hours. The sounds, scents, and eccletic sights of the the surroundings serve to create a masterful exemplification of the spirit existent along the central coast. The park is situated almost directly in the middle of the village and thus captures the effects of the spruce-laden forests and crashing ocean... More
