Beautiful place but because of recent great weather it took two hours to get 10 miles and tons of people turned around and gave up so if you have kids it might be something to consider. If you like to take pictures this is the place for you.

After nice ride through the country side, spend time in a fully bloomed tulip garden. You have the option of walking around or taking a ride on a land train. There are many attractions for kids to keep them occupied. It's more like a fair ground. Tulips will be in bloom in April and May.

Spectacular tulip fields without traveling to Holland. We are from CO and have nothing to compare. It is a family event. There are a few playground activities for the children. You ride or walk a few hundred yards from the main facility to the fields which they rotate planting over five years between tulips and other crops. In addition to... More

Even though it was a cool day and just opening weekend, I truly enjoyed my visit and loved all the beautiful, colorful tulips! A bargain at just $10 a carload. Definitely recommend going on weekends, as they also have other activities going on. Treated myself to a bouquet of 10 tulips to take home as well!

Although I have lived most of my life in Oregon I had never visited Wooden Shoe Tulip Farms until this visit. A new photographer friend suggested we go and I was so glad she did. The sheer variety of tulips kept me mesmerized for over an hour taking picture after picture of the blooms right at the peak of their... More

Paying for parking gets you to wander around a large field of tulips which unfortunately were past their prime when we visited. You can also take a tractor-pulled hay ride around the field. Other than that there was an area of kids activities and a bit of a farmers market. The kids activities such as zip lines and pony rides... More

Went to this place with my hubby and was a lil bit disappointed because some of the tulips already died because it was the last day of the festival. I was so amazed with the alive ones! its was so crowded because its was a festival when we went. but everything else was colorful and the flowers are just so... More

This is by far one of the most amazing places to visit every Spring...........! The bloom takes place at different times every year depending on the weather but they have a web site that shows you the field conditions that is updated every morning. They also have hot air balloons that rise above the fields (weather permitting) The kids will... More

This is worth one visit if you want to see one big field of tulips. It is pretty, but not the HUGE fields I was expecting. It is also too expensive to park. So if you want to go, take a big group of friends and split the cost of parking. The countryside around the farm is picturesque, too. Great... More

I visited this tulip farm for the first time this Spring. I found it beautiful. The row after row of tulips creates a beautiful rainbow of colors running up the small hill on which the field was planted. The folks there were very friendly and accommodating to a budding photography buff. I was told I could come in early -... More
