We chartered our yacht right off the coast and tendered in. The water is amazing. The entire place is basically a white sand, blue ocean, 80m stretch. There is a single bar with bathrooms. Its very peaceful and usually only a few tourists. When we were there Justin Bieber and entourage showed up, which added to some of the novelty... More

Pretty little island quick boat ride or sail from mainland Angilla. Limited facilities with one bar and shared restroom that could use some TLC bring your own toilet paper or tissues Good swimming.

We took the 11AM boat to Sandy Island to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. It is about a 10 minute ride over to the island. BTW-If there are more people than room on the boat, they will come back to get you – you do not have to wait until noon and the next “scheduled” ferry. They immediately start your... More

My wife and I had a great day out on Sandy Island. My recommendation to anyone visiting Anguilla is to go but maybe think twice about getting one of the more expensive combo plates. I sprung for the $130 lobster, crayfish and mahi and it was good but not $130 good. I had better food at a few other places... More

My husband and I caught the shuttle boat at Sandy Ground about 11am. Once we got to Sandy Island, we immediately ordered our lunch, but asked that it be served 12:30-12:45. We got it exactly on time, and it was a lovely BBQ lunch. We also rented chairs and an umbrella, which I would highly recommend b/c there is not... More

We stopped here briefly on a private boat tour. I think if we had more time, we would have stayed a while, had a drink and relaxed on their nice beach beds. Worth going again. You can hop a lot of different boats in Sandy Ground to get here.

It is just that, a sandy island. Unless you snorkel the only thing you can do is lie in the sun. You can do that on Anguilla. Food is available.

We came over on a snorkling trip and sure did enjoy the beaches and the drinks at the beach bar. Do make this a stop while on Anguilla

Paid a fortune to stop at this island to snorkel whilst sailing in the Caribbean. Was under the impression it is a marine reserve but nothing of the sort. We watched locals lowering and retrieving fish traps onto and from the coral, the coral is so badly damaged. Very, very sad.
