Traveled down from Vancouver BC. Had a lovely trip. Forecast was for good weather and daytime temps of 18-22. We honestly didn't count on the cold wind. We came to camp, in a tent so the nights are very chilly at 13 with a wind off the ocean. We camped in number 11. Nice spot, very close to highway 101,... More

Camping steps away from a great walking beach. Miles long and very wide, Never having to many people on the beach. Great place to run the dogs.

It is as it sounds, beachside! Sandy beaches and trails , fun abounds here. Walking the dog(s) or letting the kids play, either are a good choice for this area.

I got to the park late at night. There were still available spaces. It was a fun trip, I really enjoyed staying in the park. For a camping park the bathrooms were nice. The park is right off the beach so it was a short walk which is nice. The people were all friendly.

I have to set my calendar reminder 9 mos in advance to get one of the ocean view spots in this park. Still haven't gotten the one with the private yard and full side ocean view. Not sure what the secret is on that. This year I forgot until the afternoon and could only get 4 days instead of 5.... More

As other reviewers have said, this is a small park with great beach access. When we first arrived all the spaces closest to the water were taken, but the Ranger suggested a couple spaces with views and we found one (#57) where we could see the ocean from our RV. We booked it for two nights. The next morning we... More

It is a small park and one only a couple so close to the ocean. It has RV parking with water and electric ( no waste tank dump). It also had tent sites, and many are good sized. The camping fee includes free showers, and wood is available for $5.00 a bundle. Most hook up sites are booked well in... More

Drove by and to our good fortune someone had left a day early and we got their spot for a night. Have tried many times to just pop in, during, admittedly, the high seasons and camp here but have never been able to; our lucky night. We were in spot #77 and found it to be a roomy, quiet pitch... We stop here almost every time we drive by. It is good for a (leashed) dog walk. Rest rooms are convenient. If you want to walk on the beach this has to be the easiest walking access to the beach along the coast highway.
