We visited on July 2nd, 2014 and had recently joined the wine club to take advantage of a free tour and tasting. We also had sampled some of the wines in the past, the Pinot Noir Whole Cluster was a big favorite of mine and my wife was learning to appreciate reds after sticking to whites for many years so... We have had a great time each of several times we've visited WVV. And our most recent visit prompted this review since it was the first time in their remodeled tasting room. We have always found the hostesses to be entertaining, informative, and well-trained in the trade - and then we learned that some are even volunteers. Yeah for WVV!... More

Thanks to Duska for a great visit and informative tasting at WVV. We really appreciate her knowledge and friendly conversation. Come see Duska and the great staff at WVV, it is a winery you can't miss.

Well worth a stop. Rated one of the top 100 wineries of the world by wine and spirits magazine. New tasting room opens November 2013. Wvv.com. Watch Jim's utube on history of winery. Pretty interesting. We just went last weekend with a group of 20 and had a great time.

We've driven past this winery many times on Interstate 5, and finally decided to check this one out. It's easy to get to, the hilltop views are fabulous. The wines however, when compared to other wines in the Willamette Valley area are a bit overpriced.

We stopped by WVV to pick up our wine and wine taste a few days ago and were very surprised to see that the tasting room is under-going a major renovation! It is going to be beautiful when completed and we were told that wine club members will have their own private tasting room.... so cool! The Pinot Noir and... More

We decided to end our southern Oregon/Applegate Valley weekend by stopping at Willamette Valley Vineyards on the way back to Portland. Seen it a million times driving by, but why didn't we ever stop before? The view from the tasting room is incredible, the wines are fabulous, and we stumbled upon a five-star meal of blackened salmon, bacon-cheddar-duck confit fries... More

There are more than 200 wineries in the Willamette Valley region, and I spent a delightful afternoon tasting (and purchasing) wines at one of them - the Willamette Valley Vineyards. The commanding views from the hilltop tasting room are excellent, but scenery alone does not recommend a winery. Samples of the Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and other wines will reward... More

I take all my out-of-town visitors here, conveniently located right off I-5. With hundreds of wineries in Oregon, Willamette Valley Vineyards is noteworthy as one of the large ones, which has won its share of awards. Breathtaking views out over the valley (though one does have to look beyond the interstate far below.)

We stopped on a lark as we were driving up I-5. It was a fun stop. Although tasting is not free, there are several tasting groups to select from, starting at $5 for the "red and white." The server was very helpful, knowledgeable about the wine, and gave us samples of wines she thought we would like even though they... More
