This place has been a favorite stop for us for years and years. We have a routine; use the clean bathroom, wash hands, eat squeaky cheese, buy squeaky cheese, buy ice cream cone, go upstairs watch people make and bag cheese. There is a lot of information here and it's a super fun atmosphere, even if you don't like cheese.... More

More of a theme park/tacky gift shop than a educational visit. At least it was free. We nicknamed it "STC = Star Trek Cheese" "It is Cheddar but not as we know it Jim" Very bland.Maybe the Kosher Cheddar had some Chutzpah?

We stop here every time we travel through Tillamook even thought we have been there many, many times before. I am sorry a previous reviewer missed trying the ice cream because the line up was so long because it is worth waiting for. The problem is trying to decide which flavors to choose. We have eaten in their restaurant on... More

The ice cream is heavenly and the restaurant food is very good as well. My grandkids were fascinated watching the cheese making process. And they loved the cheese tasting.

I recently traveled to the Tillamook Cheese Factory to tour the facility and find obsecure cheese products. The tour is self guided and you can see everything in 20 minutes or less. The cheese that is sold can be bought in any Oregon grocery store. They also do not ship from the site. If you are buying a gift, plan... More

One of the few attractions in Tillamook Oregon, not much to see here, but some real good cheese with free tours and samples. They also have great ice cream so I'm told, but the line went around the building and I wasn't that interested.

Was impressed with the viewing and history of how they make the best cheese in the Pacfic Northwest! Loved the samples and the store dealing with everything Cheese and all the accoutements used for Cheese. Yes, there were the typical tourist chatchkees you see elsewhere but very reasonable priced. Our only gripe was that we had to park in what... More

I have been here a number of times. It is always fun. This time I got to watch them package the 2 pound blocks of cheddar. Interesting to watch. I enjoy browsing around the gift shops, and trying the cheeses. Yes, the ice cream is worth the wait in line! YUMMY!!!

The Tillamook cheese factory is a great place for a visit. Besides the fact that the cheese-making process is rather interesting and the self-guided tour is user-friendly, the ice-cream here is fantastic! Just like the reviewers you are going to continue to read, try the grilled-cheese sandwiches, any flavor of their ice cream and take home an empty bucket for... More
