Tillamook products are always very good. The ice cream is to die for. It is a neat experience de for kids to stand at the viewing window and watch cheese production. They have a large gift shop plus a place to buy their cheese.

You can actually spend a few hours walking around the factory, learning about the history of the factory and the original workers. There is an upper level with even more information! As well as viewing of the factory workers in the many different stages. Then you can descend and try a few different kinds of cheeses. We left the factory with... More

If you like cheese, this is your place!! I wasn't very interested in how cheese is made or taking the tour so didn't spend any time with either. I mainly stopped in to sample cheese and to buy some to bring home. I went through the sample line four times and you have about ten different cheeses to sample. Very... More

When we stopped on the way through Tillamook, there were lots of people. This meant plenty of waiting in line for samples, or to make purchases. Overlooking the cheese factory was interesting.

This was a great stop on our way up the Oregon Coast. The tour is self guided but shows you the production floor with lots of detailed descriptions and videos of the process. You can really take as much or as little time here as you like. The sample bar has different flavors that are very difficult to find in... More

The somewhat famous Tillamook in located in the middle of the Oregon town of Tillamook, sandwiched by the western coast on one side and dairy farms and hilly byways on the other. The factory tour is basic and mildly interesting; the overheard view of the factory floor and the cheese sampling bar is the well-known highlight. The gift shop is... More

Terrific cheese and ice cream. They also have a really nice gift shop. The prices are a little bit high for everything. You can buy cheese cheaper at the grocery store down the street, but the experience you'll have at the cheese factory outweighs the cost.

Tillamook Cheese Factory is probably one of the more interesting locations for a tourist stop, but nonetheless, it is fascinating. You can see the entire production line from start to finish from windows over looking the factory floor! It was a cool site to see, also they have a "try it" bar, where you can try the different cheese they... More

This well-known attraction is worth a visit, if only to see 40 pound blocks of cheese cut into 2 pound "bricks". There are free samples, and you can buy bricks of cheese, your lunch (almost everything on the menu has cheese in it!) or ice cream.

I like coming out here during camping trips with the family. We ALWAYS make a stop here. The lines are not long enough to complain about. The people who work here are always helpful. There's plenty of cheese to try and ice cream to devour! If you head out towards the Oregon Coast, I recommend stopping by.
