I absolutely love going to Edge and watching the artists create amazing things! They are all so creative and friendly, and willing to answer questions. I was given a gift certificate to blow my own float here and it was one of the coolest things I've ever done!

It was raining cats and dogs with crazy winds so my son and I decided to blow some glass. I made a small float and my son made a glass bowl. We chatted about chemicals and heat combining to change the colors. Blue and red make brown. So we instead combined blue and green for me. My son combined blue,... More

First off don't call or email and expect them to respond . I called and emailed several times over a three month time frame trying to get information before they finally called me back . The glassblowing its self was ok . I have a better experience at other studios . But my pieces turned out fine . I made... More

We treated my girlfriend's 17 year old granddaughter to a glass blowing session. The instructor was Amanda and she was the best. Very much hands on to the extent possible and Amanda made it very fun. We were all allowed in the work area and took lots of pictures. The granddaughter made a float which turned out beautifully. The cost... More

My husband and I went glass blowing for the first time. It seemed rather expensive and I think that is why I have not done it in the past, but the truth is I have 2 beautiful pieces of art in my house that I helped create. The customer service was spot on and helpful. I enjoyed myself so much... More

Wanted to try glass blowing while on a girls trip for my birthday. Saw signs for glass blowing in Lincoln City but the shop there was closed Mon-Tues. Googled for a site in Newport and happened upon The Edge. Amanda was running the show that day and she offered to fit us in before the end of her shift so... More

On a whim we decided to stop and have a look-see. the array of goods they had available for purchase showed great craftsmanship and the people working there were very friendly. Since the price was affordable and we had time to kill, my girlfriend ended up taking a quick class. The artist who helped her was a very nice guy.... More

Surrounded and shaded by trees, the Edge Art Gallery is well worth the time to stop, look, and watch. The "gallery" (re: show/sales area) is an area of well displayed glass art of many forms. One wall of the "gallery" is all windows and looks into the "work" area. When we were there, the owner was teaching a group of... More
