Hikers and bikers will love this extensive (and constantly expanding) trail system that winds for miles from lovely Sisters village. Free trail maps at the trailhead and area bike shops. Mountain bike loops for all levels. Separate trails for horses too. Volunteers always welcome for trail maintenance.

Multi-use trail is well marked. Map denotes levels of difficulty and specific uses so it's easy to plan for a kid-friendly walk/hike/bike ride in the glorious forest.

This trail offers short or long hikes and is so convenient to access in Sisters. I love it in the winter too, when there is a good covering of snow to allow snowshoeing.

Probably OK for bikes, but rather boring trails through the trees for hiking. It is close to town which is nice if you want to get out for a short walk.

You can ride your mountain bike or just walk. Peaceful. Surrounded by birds including the rare White Headed Woodpeckers. Smell of juniper and pine.... lovely hike for all ages and fitness levels. Not paved.

View is worth the 12-18 mile ride. Terrific trail markings and trail options are terrific.

Great mountain bike trails. Organizers have done a great job of expanding current trail system as well as maintaining them. There is a great variety of terrain and skill levels. As you climb up, some of the trails have gorgeous views. Great mountain biking

Loved the mountain biking - as an avid mountain biker in Boise, ID I'm accustomed to the pristine foothills but sisters, OR didn't dissapoint . Don't be flustered by the first couple miles of trails being relatively flat because it gets better.
