Our trip to Oregon was centered on Oregon Garden and the adjacent Oregon Gardens Resort (who is responsible for management of the Garden). Also a not-to-be-forgotten couple nights at Silver Falls State Park nearby. Oregon Garden is a world class botanical park comprised of many different gardens. Our favorite was the conifer garden which is a world repository for rare... More

Most of the leaves have fallen but there were still some flowers holding on. Garden is still nice to stroll around and there's very few people around. Can't beat the prices this time of year for stays at the resort.

November is not the best month to visit the Gardens - flowers were gone and it was cold and wet - but the fountains and conifers, etc were still beautiful.

We found the gardens to be one of the best we have ever visited and we have gone to botanical gardens all over the world. The many clusters of simply gorgeous trees, plants, water features and flowers were enchanting, We cannot wait to return. The resort was lovely and spacious, the food was excellent, the service was exceptional, and the... More

We became familiar with the different garden areas by first riding the tram a view times, then deciding where we wanted to walk around for photos and some "zen" experiences. We have been to many beautiful gardens, and this one would be in the top 10. The reflection pools, succulents, aspens, roses, streams and fresh air were sensory delights.Tiny chicken... More

We'll try again tomorrow but got rained out this morning. We went to plan B which was shopping and of course the day turned sunny and lovely. The gardens, even in the rain, are beautiful and impressive. Worth an excursion

Oregon Gardens is a beautiful place to visit and never the same twice. A must see every season. Recently visited with Scarecrows in the Garden - the leaves are changing and there was still plenty blooming. It is a great place to wander, take pictures, or just sit and contemplate a beautiful place. The membership is well worth it because... More

I had known of this garden for some time and knew it had struggled in the early years but was blown away by the high standards it has achieved. Scientific labels are abundant; the variety of garden themes and hardscape features are a tribute to the local nursery/landscape industry. It's just beautiful.

Having visited many beautiful parks and nature areas in the Northwest I may have had too high of expectations for the Oregon Gardens. While it is definitely beautiful there are many other gardens and parks in the metro area that show just as well. Perhaps a mid summer visit with full blooms would have left a better impression. The tropical... More

If you are a plant lover, this is a great place. Lots of water features and friendly staff. A little on the spendy side but Groupon coupons or other discounts are available. Besides, it's near Silverton. A great little town.
