Still growing!

We loved it all. We had come after tulips and before many of the planting beds, but still lovely. We will come to see it again!

This was our second visit to the Oregon Gardens -- the first visit was in the summer of 2003 or so, shortly after the gardens were opened. While we enjoyed the gardens back then, there is really no comparison to how they are today -- more of the area has been developed, the plantings have matured, and extensive landscaping has... More

A lot of hard work is evident in the beauty of the 30 gardens spread over 80 acres. While staying at the Oregon Garden Resort, we rode the tram three times with a different narrator each time. Each ride was very informative. Although the days were cloudy with sprinkles, we still enjoyed walking in the gardens as well as riding... More

We had to go to a funeral, early May, in the Oregon/Portland area. Funerals are emotionally draining events and heavy on the soul. A family member suggested that because of this, we should stay at the Oregon Garden Resort, instead in a downtown hotel. We stayed at the resort for a full week and it was the most soul healing... The Oregon Garden is a great day trip any time of year, we always find great ideas to take home to our own garden, and our time spent in the garden is peaceful, joyous, and relaxing.

This is the perfect time to visit the gardens. Most things are in bloom and the weather is great for Oregon (or anywhere).

When visiting my aunt we had about an hour of free time. We went to the Oregon Garden. It was a typical Oregon day, dreary and chilly, but the garden and views were still beautiful. We spent most of our time on the tram tour, this is a great way to see the garden grounds, it was very informative. I... More

I went here when it first opened in 2001. The plants then were so tiny! Wow, what a difference now! They have a nice brochure and map so you can get around easily. This time of year there are lots of blooms, plus always the Evergreens, typical to the NW. After walking for about 1 1/2 hours, seeing much of... More

We took the tram ride through the garden and cannot believe how the garden has grown. It is now has the feel of a well established garden and the upkeep is amazing.
