I have visited the Oregon Garden every year for many years. It use to have stunning plant combinations, now it looks tired, old and on a budget. The only nice plant combining was in the parking lot as you walk out the entrance to the garden! Frankly, if the management doesn't come up with an inspired plan soon, I fear... More

Second visit to the gardens. If you love Oregon for the beauty in creation this is a great spot to visit. The conifers, flowers, ponds, etc are lovely to look at and interesting to learn more about. There is a small fee for entrance,a gift shop, and cafe. There is a wonderful shuttle that runs every half hour around the perimeter. You can walk... More

We stopped in because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. It is a very enjoyable place. We started by taking the trolly all the way around, 25 minutes. The guide makes stops along the way and gives you the history and the future plans. Once we took the ride around we had a better idea of the areas we wanted... More

We visited the Oregon Gardens a few years ago. We visited it again this week. I hardly remember it. We started with the tram tour which was quite good. However wish I had picked up a map at front desk before we did. Would have made it easier when we went back and walked through much of it. They have... More

We stumbled on this 120-acre garden while wine tasting in the Willamette, and were pleasantly surprised at its size, beauty and diversity. The nearby Frank Lloyd Wright house (not affiliated) was a great extra treat. The resort next door is a great value.

We enjoyed our day here and were especially impressed with the Lewis and Clark garden and the Children's garden. However, compared to the Portland Japanese and Chinese gardens, this garden isn't as nice.

I like plants, though I'm not a wild-eyed gardening person. A well kept garden is beautiful and relaxing. I often think of the wonderful Butchart Garden north of Victoria, BC as a prime example. The Oregon Garden is equally wonderful. Butchart is manicured. Some of the Oregon Garden is also, but much of it is more wild and natural in... More

This is the second time Hubs and I went to the Oregon Garden – the first being in May of last year, and I was even more impressed this time in mid-summer (maybe because it isn’t raining). The Oregon Garden is a large establishment made up of a myriad of smaller gardens, some designed to inspire the average home “digger-in-the-dirt”.... More

We used an Amazon Local coupon and decided to check out this place and so glad we did. The hotel portion has nicely appointed rooms. The lounge has an awesome happy hour and the breakfast buffet is a full buffet, not a continental breakfast. The gardens are spectacular! 22 gardens in all. This is a great place to go for... More
