We booked late and without being able to see a room we knew we were taking our chances because all they had left was "pet friendly". We love our animals but don't bring them on vacay.....and we've stayed in places where the room was pet friendly but there was absolutely no trace of pets. Once we got a look at... More

This garden is about an hour's drive from Portland, and we went here because my husband loves gardens. The garden was established in 2001 so it is pretty new and maybe in 30 years, it might be amazing but nothing spectacular right now. We spent a pleasant afternoon here but even with taking tons of photos, having lunch and taking... More

You can't go wrong with a visit here. Stop, turn off your cell phone, and take a moment to smell the roses. It is great for all ages and no one in our group was unhappy. There is a kids garden with a train display and a fossil sandbox. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and pleasant. The gardens are... More

This botanical garden just gets better and better. New additions and, of course, the plantings' maturity continually adds to the beauty of the place. Love that there is a shuttle allowing for hopping on and off at different spots - makes for less tired feet at the end of the day. I especially like the arboretums, the children's garden, the... My husband and I went to this garden first time in 2013, and we fell in love. Now, a year later we decided go back and enjoy this diverse, big, and beautiful garden. Great to all ages.

My 92 year mother and I met 5 friends at the garden and enjoyed the tram, the wonderful and fun speciality gardens, esp. the children's Garden. We had lunch there and had time to visit sitting outside. The drive from Portland was enjoyable too, going through small towns and farm land.

Can't wait to see it expand as the years go by. The complimentary tram/bus tour is nice to see an overview of the garden and hear about it.

Free tram rides ferry you about the 120 lush acres of gardens at Oregon Gardens. We were fascinated by the Serenity Garden and the waterless garden. Although I consider myself a seasoned gardener, I now absolutely understand how a garden must work with the natural environment and seasons. We saw two weddings in progress - a lovely place to have... More

This is a lovely spot to spend 3-4 hours enjoying a variety of themed gardens and trails. There is a tram that provides a good initial orientation as well as transportation between areas later in the day when you are tired. There is a whimsical children's garden, and a local market garden where we sampled a variety of berries, as... More
