Recently constructed in a very modern taste is Ponzi's spectacular tasting room. The environment is very tastefully decorated and is an excellent use of open outdoor space. The wines speak for themselves as, in my opinion, they are extraordinary. I do not drink white wine but am pleased to say the four levels of Pinot Noir we sampled were very... More

The Historic Estate location is quite nice, well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The wines from Ponzi are consistently excellent even with a higher price point. But the tasting of 7 wines was sparse and barely enough poured for a second sip. Then the ask was for $27! Are you kidding me? This is the most outrageous pricing I have encountered... More

My daughter and I were vacationing on the west coast tripping from Seattle down to San Diego. I visited a client while I was in Portland and he showed us around, and took a break here where he is a member. The wine tasting including seven different choices. We sat outside, although it was a little chilly, but the overhead... More

We very much enjoyed our trip to Ponzi Vineyard; we have enjoyed their wine many times. They have a very warm and welcoming tasting room. Fantastic views and a warm balcony at the end of November with a fire pit and warming lights. Caitryn gave us a nice tour of the wine making facilities, including the cask room and was... More

A clean-lined, contemporary building sited to take maximum advantage of its north-easterly view. The large fireplace and wood finishes keep the cement building materials feeling warm and welcoming. A large covered outdoor patio with fire feature and comfortable seating (and overhead heaters!) draw lots of people outside on a crisp early winter afternoon. Our married children played bocce ball on... More

This vineyard is very close to Beaverton and has a beautiful tasting room. The people pouring the tastings are very knowledgeable about the wines and may even have a wine or two available to taste that is not on the tasting menu!

Ponzi Winery Sherwood is one of my favorite tasting rooms in the area. Very welcoming, extensive wine varietals offered compared to other wineries in the area. Fantastic views from inside and especially from the covered, wrap around deck. A great place to buy a bottle and enjoy there with friends. The tasting fee is expensive ($20) unless you are a... More

We went to ponzi as we were driving through Oregon wine country visiting multiple vineyards. While the building is beautiful, the wine was terrible. They charged well above others for a comparable tasting flight, and the pours were absurdly small. It's clear that you're paying for the scenery, not the wine.

If you only have time for 1 winery, make it the Ponzi Winery in Sherwood, Oregon. We went for the Progressive Tasting and Tour while we were in town for a wedding. For $30 you get a 45 minute thorough tour of the brand new facility plus tastings as you go! Does life get any better than that? The day... More

Nice wine tasting, price seemed average for the area. The lady working was very nice and helpful and even helped us plan where to go next. It was one of the more friendly tastings I was at in the area, very enjoyable. I would stop in here!
