lots of sea life, tastefully displayed in nice surroundings. feeding the seals kept the grandkids busy and happy. The tanks holding the fish and shell fish were well lit and it was entertaining, educational and artistic.

While the Aquarium has been at Seaside for 75 years and have very friendly and knowledgeable staff, it was small and dark with too many people and too many kids running around to enjoy the animals on a hot summer Sunday. I recommend you go during the week and not on a weekend.

Loved the fact that not only could you feed the seals (they are hilarious) but that there was a hands on area that the kids could experience. Definitely a highlight in our vacation

It's a cute little place. I loved it. You got to feed the seals and do some coloring. They had a good variety of sea life. And it's in a beautiful friendly location.

We all had a great time. The seals were delightful, clapping and barking for the food that you can purchase for them. The two giant octopi were interesting and unusual. Huge crabs and lobsters...every kind of fish imaginable. And best of all...one of the "Tsunami fish" that came over from Japan after the earthquake and tsunami

This aquarium is awesome in the fact you get to feed seals! It's a great way to get you in the door. Unfortunately, there is really nothing else to see or do after you feed the seals.

The kids like to go here and feed the poor obnoxious seals. The aquarium is pretty small, although there is plenty to look at. For toddlers, they seem to like the crayon / metal plate activity. The admission price seems a little high to me, for what it is. We really like the gift shop, though. Perfect little seaside gift... More

As we approached the seaside aquarium we were overcome with a horrible rotting smell which we realized was the aquarium upon arrival. As we entered we were tiny pieces of fish to feed the seals. The seals were crammed into a tiny unattractive cement pool. They were all begging for food. Tragically that was all the seals had to look... More

Yes it's old and small but feeding seals is super cheap entertainment. They had the baby seal and several octupus, It's a quaint old aquarium but the kids love it!!

Feeding the seals is the main attraction. For $1 *some hotel brochures have a coupon for a free tray) you get some chopped fish to feed to some super fat, well trained, cute seals. Great interaction for kids. The rest is a large single room with small tanks of various fish, a big tank with an octopus, and a couple... More
