My children and I liked this aquarium. It's a bit small, but had sea life that we had never seen before. We really liked the Octopus and my kids loved the coloring station. It's a little dark and crowded but I thought it had good value.

We went by the aquarium and chose not to go in after seeing how the seals were kept. There a number of seals in a tiny box where many children were feeding them. It was a very sad sight to see. I understand it is fun and exciting for children to see and feed the seal but with the money... More

As mentioned by previous reviewers, the area in which the seals (their main attraction) are housed is confined. Not sure if there's a larger containment area outside the viewing area? The seals are incredibly intelligent and clap/slap the water if you have food for them. For $1 you can purchase fish to feed them. The rest of the aquarium is... More

I love that this is a locally owned place, but the way the seals are treated is really terrible. There's like 6 seals, in a small pool that's doesn't give them much room to move around. And even if there's more room for them in the back, many of them look like they're fighting infection or illness. Hundreds of people... More

This was a quick little side stop. Filled with school children, it was a bit crowded but still worth the time. Seeing the colorful sealife is fascinating and interesting. The live sea lion exhibit was the best part.....they really put on a show for the fish they wanted you to throw them!

Small and depressing aquarium. Sad to see the seals enclosed in such a small tank. Aquarium itself is made up of one small room, hardly worth price of admission.

Very small! Not a lot to look at! The kids did love the seals and were able to touch some of the things. Only in there for about 10 min's. This was like the rest of Seaside, very disappointing!! There is not that much to do here in Seaside. Very expensive!! Very sad!

I first went to this aquarium in the 60's. I enjoyed it then and still enjoy the place. It seems to have shrunk since I was 11, but I may have gotten taller too. The displays are simple and easy to see. Information is great on each occupant. There were three octopus there on my last visit. It is a... More

lots of sea life, tastefully displayed in nice surroundings. feeding the seals kept the grandkids busy and happy. The tanks holding the fish and shell fish were well lit and it was entertaining, educational and artistic.
