This is a fun attraction for the young in the family and the old as well. Located in a beautiful setting by the Salem riverfront this beautifully handcrafted carousel is a special treat. Something that the whole family can enjoy together from the youngest child, to the oldest grandparent. Enjoy some family time together!

My one and three year old love this place. They could ride this over and over again. The horses are hand carved and they are beautiful. I recommend buying the punch card, it doesn't expire and it is a much better value for your money.

Cheap fun. Right by the river to take a walk before or after. Or have a picnic at the park right outside.

gift shop is very expensive and you think they would have more of a treat selection like cotton candy or pop corn things that would make it more enjoyable for the little ones

The Carousel is a fun, old time entertainment. We buy the punch card, so each ride is barely over a dollar and very handy when we have time to stop in for a quick go-around. Very fun for both kids and the adults riders.

We came to the riverfront for a family day carnival they were having. It was a lot of fun and many booths. The carousel was a bit of a wait, but it was fun for my 5 yr old.

The Riverfront Carousel is a wonderful place for families to inexpensively entertain their children. The carousel boasts the vintage charm of carnivals long ago while continuing to add new characters, most recently a turtle, for children to ride. The venue also has clean restrooms, snacks, and a fabulous gift shop. There is also a studio where new carousel horses are being... More

We used to live on the Oregon coast and would come to visit the carousel as often as we could. Now that we have moved to Salem, we can go whenever we like. It is always fun and we love the park and walking along the river. Perfect!

Nice park with it. Had a great playground for kids and picnic tables. Easy to get to as well! Location occasionally has some homeless folks but not bad.

Magnificent craftsmanship and very clean. Views of the river were serene and soothing. The gift shop had an awesome metal horse that I had to have.
