Uniquely Carved Animals

The Riverfront Carousel is very inviting for people of all ages. Hand carved animals are especially OREGON! A fun place to bring out of state relatives and friends! MUST go!

I've taken the grandkids (ages 3, 5, 10, and 13) twice. They had a great time. The price is reasonable. I enjoy hitting the popcorn vendor located adjacent to the ride.

From the cute horses to the coins they sell, there's always something to look at here. The gift shop is expensive, but filled with cute toys and gifts from anyone you know. Occasionally they'll sell fresh popcorn and cotton candy. Service is generally good, not always in the gift shop. A place to definitely visit at least once.

A hand carved artistic masterpiece that creates a community event center for fun with Mrs. Claus at Christmas and an adorable spot for birthday parties! The people who work the carousel are so kind to the children and always make us feel welcome! I love this special gift to Salem!

A variety of gorgeous hand-carved animals call to little children and adult children to enjoy an old-fashioned treat. Parking is nearby, as well as a charming park. There are wide open spaces to play games, take a walk, and enjoy the river views. Sometimes we can see the sternwheeler going up or down the river.

Had a wonderful time just watching the children enjoy the carousel and then took a nice walk in the park and watch the sternwheeler go down the river.

The Carousel in Salem is a nice family outing. The staff is very pleasant. The Carousel has a variety of characters from which to choose when picking a favorite one to ride on. Some go up and down as the Carousel goes around, others do not. Refreshments are available. We have taken our grand children on several occasions and it... More

I love stopping by the carousel for a quick spin (or four)... I've been bringing my niece and nephew over the last decade and look forward to bringing my new little one now that she can sit up and enjoy her surroundings!

Lovely Carousel, very reasonable and long rides. They also sell popcorn and cotton candy. Drinks available by machine. They have a birthday room for parties and it was kept very clean. Very well cleaned after each event. Very kind and accommodating to the disabled. Just outside is a fun park for the kids too.

Small to medium children love to ride the carousel. Took my grandkids for part of there birthday to the carousel. They loved the names on the horses and the ones that go up and down as they spin around. Small price for a good time. Adult ride for free with your small children ( which is nice if your on... More
