Lovely Carousel, very reasonable and long rides. They also sell popcorn and cotton candy. Drinks available by machine. They have a birthday room for parties and it was kept very clean. Very well cleaned after each event. Very kind and accommodating to the disabled. Just outside is a fun park for the kids too.

Small to medium children love to ride the carousel. Took my grandkids for part of there birthday to the carousel. They loved the names on the horses and the ones that go up and down as they spin around. Small price for a good time. Adult ride for free with your small children ( which is nice if your on... More

We had a great time here, the ride tho kind of expensive is nice and long! The people who carved the carousel are sometimes @ work carving more figures in the workshop, located in the gift shop. The Carousel, is situated in a lovely park right on the Willamette River. Great place to pic-nick. There is also a large playground. The... More

All the riding "animals" on the carousel are hand carved. While there you may also watch one of the many volunteer carvers working on a new project. The frog and elephant are not in place for the kids to ride, The cost is minimal for a couple of rides and the adults can ride free with their small children. There... More

We like to stop at the carousel whenever we're in Salem for a couple trips around the carousel, a stop in the gift shop for a piece of candy for each child, and then over to the nearby playground in the park. My older girls like the "brass ring" game where they can win a free ride, but it's not... More

I have been taking my grandchildren tot he Carousel for the past 7 years since they were big enough to prop up on the horses. My grandson always wants to ride on Big sky! This is an affordable outing since parents or grandparents ride free with a child under 40 inches.

My son wanted to ride the carousel so we did! I don't remember what the cost was but it's inexpensive. The line wasn't even that long on a busy Saturday. He had a blast! A great diversion if you're at the park.
