I have probably walked or run every trail in Minto-Brown Park. It is a gem in and for the Salem community. A visit to Salem ought to include a stroll, run or bike ride at Minto. There are many trails from which to choose, A stroll along the Willamette River or a pause by a large pond both provide nice... More

We were looking for a place to let our dog run and were delighted with this park. The dog area is not fenced, placing responsibility on the dog owners to control their dogs. Waste containers are strategically placed along the several acre field as well as along the many trails on which dogs are welcome when on a leash. We... More

Nice trail system, well marked and you can vary your walk, ride or run depending on time and mood. The park is close and offers trails of different lengths, good birding early and late in the day.

I have visited the Minto Brown Park numerous times and always enjoy it. I have forgotten how many miles of trails are there but they have a lot. They also have a fun dog park there. I enjoy the trails that go beside the Willamette River. It is good to look at a map first so you don't get lost.

What a wonderful park along the Willamette River. It's easy to forget that you're in an urban setting when you head to Minto Brown Park. We have enjoyed hiking and roller blading the trails, many people bike the trails and there are oodles of black berries for the picking in early fall. For younger kids there's a play area, and... This park is tucked away on the Willamette River. Just off River Rd. south you will find this park with nature trails and a sprawling area for dogs. Most all the trails are paved for riding your bike. I took my daughter's grad pictures here and they were amazing You can walk down to the river's edge or stroll past... More

I wish I lived closer. This park was so pretty and has great trails for walking and running. The maps are everywhere so you can't really get lost. The views are spectacular. We had a great time exploring the park, seeing the geese, listening to the sounds and enjoying nature. It was a great start to our day!
