There is a great loop that starts at the nearest parking lot by the entrance and is about a five mile loop. I wouldn't recommend going by yourself, definitely take a buddy. It's a pet friendly park that my dog loves running at!

This is a huge bike trail sort of park. Fishing, access to the river, and quite a few ponds. Lots of birds. And in the middle, is a very large open dog park( no fencing). Most dogs do well in sticking with their people. One large mowed field, and a trail that goes around a "wild" grassy area. Most people... More

My most recent visit to this park was last night to pick luscious, wild blackberries. We parked near the dog exercise area and had fun chatting with dogs and their owners as we picked. Other times, we take our bikes into the area using the truck, unload, and ride by the river. The trail there is lovely and cool this... More

Took my female dachshund there to exercise and she was run over by bad mannered large dogs so I picked her up to walk to another area only to have someone's large dog jump up on me to get at her. I got muddy, my dog was traumatized and the owner of the offender couldn't care less. I am never... More

We enjoy walking at Minto-Brown Island because there is a variety of trials. Whether walking under trees, next to a pasture, or along the river, it changes with the seasons. The river may be roaring after a winter storm, or placid in the summer. The trees may be bare, leafed out and green, or crimson. Some trails have bark on... More

A park, or roads to bike, and paths to walk. City is building a bridge to cross from Riverfront park. A nice addition.

You can bike or walk on interlacing paved trails, and pick a route that's flat or a little hilly or along the river. The dog park is awesome. You can bring kids to a play structure. The blackberry picking is great in August. They're going to link the park to downtown!!!

I take my two large dogs to the park, and then we walk along the paths. Depending on the time of day, it's a nice treat for all of us - the dogs get to run & play, and I get some exercise while listening to the birds and enjoying the quiet.

We had a great time riding our bikes on the many trails. The trails were very lightly used on a weekday. Walkers, runners, cyclists, and dog walkers were all very polite.
