Love this park!

Bicycle riding through the trees was awsome! Paved trail around the edge of park and through some secluded areas. Dog area is separate, which was nice.

What a great city park lots of trails. Some are along the willamette river. We used to take our dog on long walks. He loved it. There is an off leash dog area if you and your dog are into something like that. Very relaxing quiet refuge close to town

I discovered this great place at age 63 as a jogger and now age 76 as a walker and sometime bicyclist. So many things to see, Rabbits, fox, deer, osprey, eagle, many types of birds, chipmunks, harmless snakes, and many other critters, and on the river side, trout rising to the hatch, and some big squaw fish next to the shoreline,... Also known as Parvo Park...please have your Dog up to date on shots as this place jams with free range dogs, it's a great place to catch a sunset. Play frisbee. Pick blackberries and run your best friend.

Lots of paved paths for walking with a dog on leash, running or biking. An area for off-leash dogs. Good maps with well-marked distances.

Salem is working on linking up Minto-Brown to downtown, but for now, the new (paved) trail extensions within the park make this a bicycle delight. While the blackberry season was waning, there were still buckets full of ripe berries away from the picnic areas. About an hour ride through the island and a half-hour distracted by berries and photo shoots.... More

The dog park is huge with plenty of space to throw balls and places to dig. The park also have bike and hiking trails some along the river. It is flat and place in a flood plane, It is also a bird watching area

If you like to walk, this is the place to go, with miles and miles of walking trails -- through woods, meadows, along the Willamette River. Sure, you sometimes have to share the paths with those who prefer to pedal, but that seldom proves a problem. The park is vast, and it takes many visits to experience it all, but... More
