I really like coming here, the woods through the park are beautiful and add to the story book feel of the place. The cottages and play areas are really neat and the kids always love it. The hard winter weather takes a toll, could use new paint and replace the carpet in the walk through areas as they smell musty... More

This Salem mainstay is always a great place to go. It's affordable, kids love it, parents can be sure their kids are having a great time. This place isn't so big that it seems crazy. There's affordable food and a really nice gift shop. It's ore than worth the stop.

My husband I took our 5 year old granddaughter and a 10 year old boy to Enchanted Forest. Hadn't been there for many years and realized we had been missing out on the fun. It is a great place to enjoy many different activities, settings and there is something for everyone. When we went it was a bit chilly because... More

As the only theme park within a 20 mile radius of Salem, this quaint fairy-taled spot is spendy but great for making memories. Everyone from Humpty Dumty,to the seven dwarfs and Pinocchio reside in this hillside treasure. They have no problem with you bringing food, but also offer the usual snacks such as nachos, pretzels, and pizza. Their website has all the... More

Excellent adventure for kids and a blessing to their parents. This place will keep road weary kids from the throes of boredom and the dreaded "are we there yet?". It is set on a hillside completely forested which gives it the charm and keeps it cooler on the occasional hot day..

One man's dream and with much labor his dream real. My grandson now eight wants to visit at least once every year. Wheather it's the history of how the park came to be or the rides, old western town or plays and skits put on at the theatre there is a little something for all ages. There are stairs and hills... Enchanted Forest is the lifetime's work of one man and his dream. Roger Tofte created Enchanted Forest on a hillside near Turner, Oregon, with a mix of fairy tales, storybook characters, wacky humour, wild western theming and some custom built rides and attractions that appeal to visitors of all ages. The Ice Mountain Bobsleds coaster was hand built by Tofte... More

Kids will love this place and Mom's and Dad's too. The Haunted House may be a bit much for the younger set but everyone loves the old west area. Overall I would rate this a Must Do for families.

My wife and I both grew up with an occasional visit to Enchanted Forest. Now, with a young daughter in tow, we are introducing her to this old staple. The park is a labor of love by one man. The site is in a wooded area (forest) on the side of a hill. Be sure to plan for some walking/hiking... More
