We helped our daughter to move our grandson into his new dorm and then listened to the football coach inform us what to expect now that he will be playing for the University. All in all, a very pleasant experience and it is a beautiful campus located in the city. Everyone there from the administrators to the staff were extremely... More

Enjoyed our tour of the campus and hearing about the school. Definitely a contender and a great town and area.

I am biased, as I graduated from Willamette many years ago and have become involved in alumni activities. That's bias, but it also indicates a pretty solid knowledge of the institution and its people. The campus is sort of a classic, right across the street from the state Capitol. There is nothing to dislike .... Salem is actually quite similar to Hawaii where the people are friendly.... just the cold was a bit getting used to.

We attended the National Poetry Out Loud Recitation Contest in Willamette University's Mark O. Hatfield Library. High school students from all over Oregon were competing for the state championship, reciting the poetry of many great poets. The winner won a scholarship and will compete in the National championship in Washington, D.C. The room in which the event was hosted was... More

Lovely little university in the middle of Salem, the river running through the middle of it is so serene and captivating. An excellent university (my aunt earned her Law Degree there), worth a quick stop if you are traveling along I-5, walk around and explore, stop in the book store and get a t-shirt.

Family alumni at this University, si we always enjoy visiting when we are in town, to see the changes over the years, and the growth of this Univeristy has been phenomenal. Beautiful campus and especially the Library.

The buildings look to be well maintained. Some are old mixed with the new! Beautiful fall foliage this time of year.
