Visitors are invited to experience one of Oregon's oldest wine estates. Founders Philippe & Bonnie Girardet established this European-style estate on slopes outside of Roseburg, in 1971. Second generation Winemaker, Marc Girardet, was taught by his father, Philippe, and is carrying on the passion for handcrafting extraordinary wines with a touch of the Old World.

Go there often as it is close by and convenient. They have the best Pinot Gris ever! The staff is friendly and a great family.

There are only a few wineries in Oregon that make the Baco Noir and we visited this one for that reason only. We found the staff person to be a little uninformed. There was only one other group in the tasting room which was great since it's not very big. We didn't like any of the their other wines (I... More

Of all the wineries we visited around Roseburg this was our very favorite. Marc was in the middle of harvest when we arrived but he came in and took great care of us. I even got to hold Francois (in photo above). His Dry Riesling and the Pino Noir Barrel Select were just divine! A casual, laid back winery -... More

My husband and I fell in love with their wines when we attended the Portland Wine Festival several years ago. We were finally able to travel down to the winery and fell in love with the winery, too. The people there are wonderful and are passionate about their wines. We ended up buying a couple of cases of the wine... More

Our visit to Delfino Vineyard was a real treat. We were very impressed that this fairly new vineyard was such a gem. The owners were very hospitable and gave us personal attention. We enjoyed the wine tasting and the wines are very much to our liking for everyday use.So much so that we purchased a mixed case and went happily... More

This is one of the first wineries in this area and in Oregon period. The wine keeps getting better. Umpqua Valley has a great wine tour. It is a nice drive.

Very senic country setting, and of course excellent wines by grapes grown there. I am familiar with the wines, as I used to sell them when I owned a small sausage/wine shop in Leavenworth. New to me was their Baco Noir, which I had tried the previous night @ Pedotti's Italian in Sutherland. Even met the original ownerPhilippe Girardet, and... More

We enjoyed all the tastes of wine that they offer at no charge, and we felt the bottles were priced fairly and the wine was all good. We bought a bottle of Pinot Gris at $15 and the very helpful daughter of the founder of the winery told us that they do not have a distributor in California so we... More
