Don't Miss This Place!

The Bairds are gracious and love to show you their farm. So many wonderful treasures to view. Great place to spend an hour or two in the Roseburg countryside.

I recently paid another visit to Riversdale Valley Farm, and there were lots of new and different things to look at. The mind starts turning with many new and fresh ideas for things to renew, reuse and recycle.

A nice collection of unusual and interesting farmland salvage with lots of patina. Great if you like hunting through the kind of stuff you see on American Pickers. Had some stuff I had never seen but not everything is for sale. Be prepared to be deeply engaged in conversation with John.

My sister, 10 year old niece, and I visited Riverside Valley Farm last weekend. This place is a true treasure hunter's paradise. If you are an artist who works with salvaged/recycled materials, you will spend a lot of time here! There are all sorts of old metal farm tools, horseshoes and unique finds. If you're not an artist, but appreciate... More

Very interesting to see what some people collect, what others want, and what an imagination can lead to- all in one spot. Kay is a lovely, warm, friendly lady- instantly like a long time friend. John is a walking encyclopedia of all his treasures. We will go back every time we go through the area just for the pleasure of... More

Made time to visit just before going back home...entrance is up a long driveway boarded by rows and rows of grape vines. Must look wonderful in summer.. Unfortunately the barn was closed but lots of rusty old farm items scattered around outside. Although my daughter thinks this is good stuff - I was hoping to find vintage and retro memorabilia... We were going to do my daughter's maternity pics at a nearby vineyard, but were unable to and ended up totally by accident at Riversdale...what a happy accident! John was so helpful in pointing out props we could use and different locations on the farm that would take beautiful pics. There were so many things to look at, it didn't... More

So much cool stuff to look at. Also, priced reasonable as well. Everything is pretty much priced out and very well organized. I purchased an old furnace that I've never seen before and I have the perfect place for it.

After leaving Brownsville, on the word of a friend, we decided to find Riversdale Valley Farms. We didn't have a plan but spent 5 hours going through EVERYTHING. Loaded the truck and went directly home. John has a fantastic place. If your looking for treasures for your yard, or need parts etc, you will need to make this a destination.... More
