The river was high due to the snow melt, so it made the falls more powerful. We found the falls on the north side of Hwy 126. The park and the picnic tables are in the south side. There are hiking trails - pretty easy. We are fit and 70, so if we can do it,my out can too. Use... More

This park has a very nice picnic area, with lots of parking. Caution: Heavily used by the locals! Get there early if you want a nice spot. No amenities other than restrooms.

Take a chair, a book, a picnic. Sit by the wearer. Enjoy the sounds and beauty. No camping but host is present.

A cute little area for local families to bring a picnic and float around on tubes in the "river". Definitely more crowded on the weekends.

Super crowded on a holiday weekend..but looked like all the families were having a great time! Most just a large grassy park, on the banks of the Deschutes River where the kids and big kids drop in the tube and cool off..

If you go early in the day, it is a pleasant small park along the Deschutes River. Later in the day, it gets crowded. A short walk ( maybe half a mile) downriver gets you to the actual Cline Falls. It is easy, even with small children and gives a great view of the multiple falls and old power plant.... More

Picnic tables right next to fastrunning river. We took our dog down and he drank from the river bank. Across the river were Petroglyphs, very empressive. Could be ealier Indian carvings and/or also early western settlers. Cost $5/day each.

unless you go in the early morning it is way to crowded, no parking , no place to relax, just crowds of people everywhere, very pretty and good place to swim if you go there on a slow day

This park consists of a few picnic tables, toilets and frontage on the Deschutes River. Dogs are allowed on leash. The park brochure says that swimming and fishing are allowed. Today the "Cline Falls" are the "Small Cline Rapids" which are less exciting at the Park than a bit farther downstream. A large open field in the middle of the... More

This is a small, very nice park located on the Deschutes river. We were enjoying ourselves until we noticed the crowds of people that started showing up. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so it's kind of hard to make us nervous, but we felt nervous with the people coming to this park. And just as our nervousness... More
