I have played the world over and my bucket list of non-played tracks is much smaller than those that I have notched. This course is a screaming deal. Great routing with an interesting mix of holes coupled with, usually, great rolling, quick greens make this too good to miss. The drawbacks are it is a public course so during peak... More

Nice wide fairways. Challenging greens, some have mulitple levels and you need to be on the correct level. Course was in good condition for late season. Only drawback was noise from freeway nearby.

Choose the proper tee and this is a very enjoyable golf course. It has hosted the Oregon Open, and the Oregon State Left-handers championship this past year. It also several other sets of tees for beginners, seniors, and the recreation golfer. The View restaurant is also very good.

This is really one of the prettiest courses in Central Oregon without spending a ton of cash. The course is always adding something, and they do a nice job in the clubhouse & restaurant. Very much a target course, and a little long for the shorter hitters.

This is a wonderful course to play. The condition is outstanding from tee to green. The fairways are fairly wide but a few have a narrow landing area; there are many elevation changes; water is on 3-4 holes but really doesn't come into play. This course is a hidden gem in Redmond.

We were staying at the RV park at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds so decided to walk over to eat dinner at The View. A mistake. The menu was definitely lunch oriented, which would have been OK except. ... I ordered a Tuna Melt which has always had cheese, melted, but didn't this time. Instead it had barely warmed tuna, cold... More

Not sure what has happened but the food was cold, staff was grumpy and seemed to be under staffed. Golf course was in good shape and the views were good. If you golf Id surely skip the clubhouse.

Nice fairly new clubhouse with a good setup for driving range and putting. Hitting off mats right now. Layout of the course was interesting. Some elevation change and water on 4-5holes. Fairways were a nice relaxing width. Grass at this time of the year was in need of water, not much rain lately. However, the grass was not thin just... More

Six of us decided to have breakfast there a couple of Sundays ago. I'm not sure if our waitress was new or just mad about something. We had to ask several times for refills on our water and we finally had to go to another table that had left their carafe and get coffee from it. We had to wait... More
