Portland Walking Tours’ fun and award-winning events explore the excitement, history, food, architecture, neighborhoods, bridges, parks, fountains, artwork, and just plain weird places in Portland Oregon. Tours include the award-winning “Best of Portland,” showcasing what makes Portland such a fabulous place to live and visit (daily, 10 AM and 2 PM); our scandalous “Underground Portland,” aka "the worst of Portland," revealing both the physical and metaphorical subterranean story of Portland's sordid past; the eerie “Beyond Bizarre”, a hands-on exploration of Portland's paranormal, using real ghost-hunting equipment as seen on shows like "Ghost Adventurer" (TM) and "Paranormal State" (TM); our delicious “Epicurean Excursion” walking tour, a tasty immersion into Portland's amazing culinary "slow food" scene; our indulgent “Chocolate Decadence Tour," exploring and sampling chocolate in its many solid and liquid forms, from bean to bar and everything in between; "Roses Gone Wild!", which dishes the dirt on Portland's famous International Rose Test Gardens; and "Flavor Street," where you taste the best of Portland's incredible food cart scene - and skip the rest.

This tour was awesome! It was super spooky and we actually did experience some paranormal activity. We also learned so much interesting information and history about the city. Our tour guide Alison was great. For $20 the 2 hours of nonstop info was so worth it!!!!

It was very entertaining and I would like to go again sometime with a bigger group. I loved all of the information about Portland's past. Love the hand held emf meters we got to use. Had some hot spots. Our tour guide (Alison) was the best! I would recommend the late tour for adults.

Drew was an awesome guide and the Chocolate tour taught me all kids of things I didn't know about my own city. I went with out of town relatives and saw my city in a new light. Highly recommended.

As a local that has lived in the Portland area since the 70s this was a great experience. Our guide Todd was very enjoyable to listen to, had a great sense of humor, and a great in-depth knowledge of the history of Portland with pictures in a book that he carried with him. He covered the period from the 1870s... More

We took our grandchildren, (ages 17 & 15) with us on the Underground Portland Tour yesterday and was very surprised at all the information he told us. Being almost 70, (5 months and can't wait, feel 50, almost, ha ha) and a resident of Portland all my life, I thought I knew everything about Portland, (well almost everything) I was... More

If you're a fan of chocolate and history, you need to do the Portland Walking Tours - Chocolate Decadence Tour - it's 2.5 hours of walking around Portland, talking to people from all over, learning about chocolate and tasting chocolate in different forms - from authentic champagne truffles to luscious drinking chocolate to chocolate-infused balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The... More

My friends and I tried the Beyond Bizarre Tour which is a mix of ghost hunting in the most haunted building in Portland (SO creepy. And yes, in the dark) and some walking around Old Town Portland to visit any creepy sites. We had Stevie as our guide who made this experience very fun. He was able to tell us... More

This was our second time doing the Epicurean tour and we loved it as much this time. Our guide Adam was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. He explained they tailor the tour each time so it's always different and can also vary depending what day of the week you do it. Don't eat before you go!!
