Tours include the award-winning “Best of Portland,” showcasing what makes Portland such a fabulous place to live and visit (daily, 10 AM and 2 PM); our scandalous “Underground Portland,” aka "the worst of Portland," revealing both the physical and metaphorical subterranean story of Portland's sordid past; the eerie “Beyond Bizarre”, a hands-on exploration of Portland's paranormal, using real ghost-hunting equipment as seen on shows like "Ghost Adventurer" (TM) and "Paranormal State" (TM); our delicious “Epicurean Excursion” walking tour, a tasty immersion into Portland's amazing culinary "slow food" scene; our indulgent “Chocolate Decadence Tour," exploring and sampling chocolate in its many solid and liquid forms, from bean to bar and everything in between; "Roses Gone Wild!", which dishes the dirt on Portland's famous International Rose Test Gardens; and "Flavor Street," where you taste the best of Portland's incredible food cart scene - and skip the rest. « less

We went on 2 tours: the a Underground Tour and the food cart tour. Both were excellent. Glad we did them. The guides were very friendly and informative.

This was a great way to get to know Portland. It was freezing so moving was paramount. We went into buildings and discovered hidden gems thanks to our informative guide. There's a lot you would miss about Portland if you just visited without doing this tour. A definite Portland must-do!

My wife and I hadn't been to Portland in fifteen years so we wanted to take a walking tour that would give us some perspective on the city--past and present. Michael, a native Portlander, was our guide and he walked our small group around downtown, filling us in on the city's colorful history and telling quirky stories about the place.... More

This was a very fun Portland excursion! From drinkable (!!!) chocolate at Cacao to sips of olive oil & vinegar at Benessere as well as amazing treats at Pearl Bakery and soup at Elephants Deli, we had an amazing Portland tasting experience! We had waffles from a food cart and ice cream sandwiches at a cute little shop and even... More

Globus Vacations arranged this tour for our stop in Portland. It was one of the highlights of our trip. This was a foodie walking tour where we visited a local bakery, Lovejoy Bakers; a tea shop, The Tea Zone; and a Belgium waffle food cart, the Gaufre Gormet. Bob Fisher and Joe did a great job explaining everything, including the... More

The tour was very nice and educational, we have learned a lot about Portland's history and how the city was built and rebuilt. The guide was very nice, knowledgeable and engaging. We've seen a number of historical and cultural landmarks, and hear many interesting and entertaining stories about Portland and its historical figures.

I was in Portland for a few days to see family and spend some time downtown. I took the Best of Portland walking tour and LOVED it. Very informative and fun tour, including lots of info on how Portland morphed from being a typical car-centric, suburbs-based city in the 1960s into the revitalized urban core it is today. The tour... More

We took the walking tour to learn about the Shanghai tunnel and the seedy side of Portland's past. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Going below ground into the tunnel was informative and a great way to learn about the a part of Portland's past that we didn't know existed. I highly recommend the tour for those who enjoy learning... More

Okay, I'll admit it. My husband and I are on a mission to see a ghost, but we don't get our hopes up, because really, these "ghost" tours are really glorified historical tours. I'm a high school history teacher and I like the stories: they're typically blood, guts, gore. Who doesn't love a good story? So, yeah, we like the... More

I traveled to Portland along with my husband who had to be there for business. I took the tour by myself while he was in meetings. It was a great way to get to know the city. David was my guide for the morning tour.He knows his city very well and obviously loves it. He was enthusiastic, funny, and informative.... More
