Tours include the award-winning “Best of Portland,” showcasing what makes Portland such a fabulous place to live and visit (daily, 10 AM and 2 PM); our scandalous “Underground Portland,” aka "the worst of Portland," revealing both the physical and metaphorical subterranean story of Portland's sordid past; the eerie “Beyond Bizarre”, a hands-on exploration of Portland's paranormal, using real ghost-hunting equipment as seen on shows like "Ghost Adventurer" (TM) and "Paranormal State" (TM); our delicious “Epicurean Excursion” walking tour, a tasty immersion into Portland's amazing culinary "slow food" scene; our indulgent “Chocolate Decadence Tour," exploring and sampling chocolate in its many solid and liquid forms, from bean to bar and everything in between; "Roses Gone Wild!", which dishes the dirt on Portland's famous International Rose Test Gardens; and "Flavor Street," where you taste the best of Portland's incredible food cart scene - and skip the rest. « less

We did the Portland walking tour and had Dianne as our Resident Expert. Her knowledge of her city is exceptional. We had one gentleman in our group of ten that was a little slower and she made sure he was able to keep up. Love her city and would do her tour all over again.

We decided to take an Underground Walking Tour of Portland. This not only encapsulated the seeder side of a young Portland (gambling dens, brothels, and shady characters) but also included the actuall underground where tunnels connected all the buildings at one time. Very informative and easy.

As a solo traveler, this was perfect! I'm so glad I signed up for a tour because I got to see some spots of Portland I would have never ventured to or had time to go to. Learning the tid bits about Portland was really cool. Very knowledgeable and fun tour guide. I wish I had time for the underground... More

I booked the Best of Portland walking tour the morning of my first day in the city to help me figure out how to make the most of my five days there in early June. Our guide, Brian, knew a lot and was friendly and engaging. Not only did he explain how the city was laid out (which helped me... More

I took the Best of Portland tour and really enjoyed it. Walking is such a great way to experience the city. We got a lot of history, learned about the public art, and got a feel for the city and its residents. We even got to experience the Pacific Northwest weather with some rain, but it just made the tour... More

We took the "Beyond Bizarre Ghost Tour". Jennifer, our guide, did a fantastic job of guiding us through the city and describing the paranormal events that took place at several sites. This was not a theatrical performance tour. We were given EMF meters for the tour, and flashlights when we went to the underground portion. The 2.5 hours passed quickly,... More

***Gluten-free friendly!*** We only had one day to really spend time in Portland and we chose to do this walking food tour. We thought it would be a great way to see downtown and not have to worry about directions or getting lost, since it's guided...plus learning about the city at the same time. We were right! Herb was our... More

As a travel agent I often share with friends and clients one of wife and my favorite 1-night, weekend getaways - we take the Amtrak down to Portland (cheap & great views) in time to check in to a downtown hotel and then head over to Heathman Hotel to catch one of the Portland Walking Tours. Our favorites are the... More

Actually, I would like to give this a 4.5 - 4 for what you actually see and a 5 for Jim - our tour guide. He was just great - fabulous history lesson about the city of Portland along with a great sense of humor. There really is no underground, nor any shanghai tunnels, but there certainly was a seedy...
