Portland Walking Tours’ fun and award-winning events explore the excitement, history, food, architecture, neighborhoods, bridges, parks, fountains, artwork, and just plain weird places in Portland Oregon. Tours include the award-winning “Best of Portland,” showcasing what makes Portland such a fabulous place to live and visit (daily, 10 AM and 2 PM); our scandalous “Underground Portland,” aka "the worst of Portland," revealing both the physical and metaphorical subterranean story of Portland's sordid past; the eerie “Beyond Bizarre”, a hands-on exploration of Portland's paranormal, using real ghost-hunting equipment as seen on shows like "Ghost Adventurer" (TM) and "Paranormal State" (TM); our delicious “Epicurean Excursion” walking tour, a tasty immersion into Portland's amazing culinary "slow food" scene; our indulgent “Chocolate Decadence Tour," exploring and sampling chocolate in its many solid and liquid forms, from bean to bar and everything in between; "Roses Gone Wild!", which dishes the dirt on Portland's famous International Rose Test Gardens; and "Flavor Street," where you taste the best of Portland's incredible food cart scene - and skip the rest.

Can't think of a better way to be introduced to a city on our first visit to Portland. The guide, a retired school teacher, was extremely knowledgeable, fun and passionate about the city, its architecture, history and people. The price represented great value for a most interesting way to spend a morning.

it was fun and excellent, the only thing I wished was that we could have walked in some of the buildings. He talked about going to the top of the courthouse, I just wish we actually could have done it.

I took this tour on Thursday the 28th at 2 PM and I'm a little bit upset with myself because I can't remember our tour guides name and she was great - the overall information and her attentiveness to the group was much appreciated. I liked it so much I booked another walking tour for tonight.

Our guide Dianne was really knowledgable, telling us about the history, the attractions and the geographical layout of the city so we could get around much easier and got to know the city much better.

Steve was a great tour guide that was informative and entertaining. He catered to everyone on the tour. We greatly enjoyed the Beyond Bizarre Ghost Tour, even if we didn't see ghosts.

Best of Portland walking tour. Great tour guide who definitely knew her Portland history. She was informative and allowed us to ask questions. The only drawbacks were having to pay to park. However , it's downtown so it's expected. The weather was of course rainy and cloudy , but I heard it's always rainy in Portland and the tour did... More

An excellent introduction to the Portland food truck phenomenon. Pam was a great guide - knowledgable, friendly, and excellent communicator - and most importantly passionate about Portland and food! Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the "Best of Portland" tour - but you have to know that it's not a history tour, or an architecture tour - it's a walking tour that points out examples of why Portland is what it is - those things that make it a great city. Good tour for familiarizing yourself with the downtown area, gaining some... More

The Portland Walking Tour exceeded our expectations. We had Damon and he combined history, humor and Portland culture for a very enjoyable 2 hours. My husband and I live her and we learned and saw new things. Even my difficult to please father said Damon had exceeded expectations(plus the day was gorgeous) with his knowledge of the city.
