Tours include the award-winning “Best of Portland,” showcasing what makes Portland such a fabulous place to live and visit (daily, 10 AM and 2 PM); our scandalous “Underground Portland,” aka "the worst of Portland," revealing both the physical and metaphorical subterranean story of Portland's sordid past; the eerie “Beyond Bizarre”, a hands-on exploration of Portland's paranormal, using real ghost-hunting equipment as seen on shows like "Ghost Adventurer" (TM) and "Paranormal State" (TM); our delicious “Epicurean Excursion” walking tour, a tasty immersion into Portland's amazing culinary "slow food" scene; our indulgent “Chocolate Decadence Tour," exploring and sampling chocolate in its many solid and liquid forms, from bean to bar and everything in between; "Roses Gone Wild!", which dishes the dirt on Portland's famous International Rose Test Gardens; and "Flavor Street," where you taste the best of Portland's incredible food cart scene - and skip the rest. « less

Started our three days in Portland with a Portland Walking Tour. Very informative and entertaining. Gave a good overview of the city and its history without getting too heavy. Might have preferred if we had covered a little more geography but it did what it advertised and others may not have appreciated something more strenuous. What it did cover was... More

This was amazing! Our guide Steve was enthusiastic, serious about his work, and had a sense of humor. They give you standard EMF detectors, and they even allow you to bring your own! I'm not sure if the other guides do, but my guide did. And another awesome thing about it is.. *SPOILER ALERT* They give you Doughnuts too! I... More

Flavor Street walking tour was fun and filling. Learned about the 700+ food carts in Portland and got to sample from 10 very wonderful carts! Side note: my hubby is allergic to corn and the poor guide did an excellent job of checking the ingredients at every cart and finding alternatives for him to try. Well done! :)

This review us for the best of portland walking tour and guide Brooke. If you want to learn about the history of Portland this is a great way to start. While you don't cover a lot of mileage, the tour does take you through the history and also provides info on the urban planning of the city and the associated... More

These walking tours are quite nice. I took a few of them in my vacation days there. I took the underground/bad stuff in the city (which was very educational and I applaud a tour doing such a thing and being up front and honest about the city and its history), and the best of tour. I learned so much and... More

I had an excellent tour of downtown Portland with Alethea (excuse my spelling!) The guide was knowledgable, entertaining and charismatic and we learnt a fair bit about Portland while seeing the highlights of the city. Good value for money and recommended.

I don't tend to be one who signs up for these types of tours especially in a city I visit frequently. But I had an afternoon free and thought, why not? I might actually learn something--and I'm a self-professed know it all. Our guide Richard was a fantastic, factual, funny, and friendly. And he is a great ambassador for the... More

I attended the 2:00 Epicurean Tour on Saturday, Feb 22, 2014, with Herb as the guide. It was a fantastic experience. I just moved to a suburb of Portland from Tucson, Arizona eight days prior, so as a newcomer it gave me all kinds of ideas of where to eat. Social media such as Yelp can be helpful and I... More

We had the privilege of having Richard as our guide last weekend. If it wasn't for him I fear we may have bailed as the weather was absolutely atrocious! Not only were we completely soaked (we had been walking all day) but we were nearly frozen! Richards love for Portland is very obvious, his passion was felt throughout the tour.... More

on their sign it says "Shanghai tunnels" but there were none. we went into a basement which they claim were "their tunnels" at the end of the tour. some stories were good but this tour quickly turned into a portland history tour, about different governors and the uprooting of the Japanese in 1942, the concert in the 1960's. where the... Thanks for your comments. We're genuinely very sorry you had a disappointing experience on our Underground Portland tour. We try to be very clear in our signage, brochures, on the phones, and on our website that this is not a so-called "Shanghai Tunnels" tour nor any sort of dramatic reenactment of those stories that you may have seen on TV....
