Go at sunset, fun, quick, and easy. Check it off your Portland Bucket List! You might have to pay for parking or find street parking.

We started to walk to the Tram but there was some construction at the Sellwood Bridge so we paid $1.00 for a 2-hour streetcar ticket and finished the trip to the tram by streetcar. I asked one of the gals waiting if this was the right car and she said yes. At the tram she told us where to stand... More

The aerial tram is impressive from down below and provides a nice view of Portland but the ride is only 1-2 minutes and there is only a hospital at the top. Tickets are $4.35 and sold at kiosks at the bottom and collected when you get on. If you have kids who want to ride and you don't care, drop... More

The tram is a short walk 20 mins or about the same time with the streetcar ( 1 dollar fare ) from downtown. Cost is a very reasonable 4 dollars and there is never really a wait, the streetcar drops you off about 50 feet from the base of the tram too! The views on a nice day are great!... More

Not a fan of heights, but went anyway. Tram was awesome - smooth ride, incredible views and highly recommend it. Open patio at top allows you to sit and enjoy the scenery. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy!

We passed by the tram on our bike tour and decided to check it out. Very inexpensive and fun little journey. It shows a unique view of he city. It was pretty quick and I would highly recommend to check it out. Nothing breathtaking- amazing or jaw dropping but a cool little experience.

If you have time for this tram ride, it's a fun thing to do. Great views of the city and gives you an excuse to explore the South Waterfront area. The ride is fairly short and you have to stand up in the tram, but you probably want to stand anyway so you can see the view. Riding down the... More

If you're doing a walking tour (or tram tour) of Portland, might as well stop by. Gives a nice view of the downtown area and three mountains. Once you hit the top, it's a nice chance to grab something to drink (there's a little shop) and sit outside while you enjoy the view!

While the tram is a commuter option to the OHSU hospital, it is still worth the trip for the views! I have been there at night and in the day. You can see Portland's bridges and it is quite a pretty sight at night. In the day, you can get your bearings before exploring Portland further. It does not take... More

This tram is only $4 per person. There is a short but amazing trip up the hill with great views all the way. When you get to the top, you can see miles in every direction. Mt St Helens, Mt Hood, all sorts of things. Interestingly, you don't end up on a mountain top or something; no, the cable car... More
