Not only is there good food and movies but they will reserve your seat for free. A good mix of independent and studio films

I live in LA - the land of the movies, but no one like Portland knows how to do the theatre experience. The living room theatre is so comfortable and the food and drinks are lovely. Plus ticket prices are very reasonable.

I spent a tearful weekday afternoon watching a movie in the Living Room. The tears were not a result of the accommodations because they were sublime. Because it was a weekday I shared the theater with only a few other folks. The seats were very comfortable and provided a lot of space for relaxing. If comparing these seats to those... More

This is a very nice, modern and comfortable art house cinema with delicious popcorn and a good food and drinks menu. Worth seeing a movie here if you're downtown.

The seating is very comfortable, they had a good selection of films to see, and the wine I had was good. Very enjoyable experience.

We have been to Portland quite a few times and just discovered this theater this weekend. What a wonderful find. This is now our favorite movie theater in Portland. The food was terrific - we ate pizza and salad in the theater. We could even have had beer or wine and I think a drink had we wanted one. The... More

Went for movie on a friday night, not knowing much about the place. Turns out it is like the name suggests; a small comfortable venue for movies, restaurant, and live music. Need to return. Really enjoyed the place.

Living room theater gets it's name from the seating that makes it more like your own living room at home where you can stretch out and eat while you watch. There is a good selection of beer and alcohol at the adjacent bar where you order food to be brought into you in the theater. Trouble is most of the... More

We went to a late movie here and it was so nice to have a large chair to relax in while drinking a beer! There are only about 25 chairs in each theater, and they are assigned, but the only bad ones might be up close. They show a few Hollywood type movies, but mostly the independent and foreign ones...
