It's one of those theaters where you can order food and drinks and watch a movie. The theaters themselves were small but had the most comfortable seats. We just had popcorn and it was great to get it in a bowl instead of the cardboard containers as I am a fan of a lot of butter in my popcorn. Wonderful... More

This Portland Thetre is a real gem. The viewing rooms are small with very comfortable seats. You can order food and drinks before the show. They screen a good selection of current and arty movies. Also you can reserve your seat - a very nice feature.

How can you beat sitting in designer seats with a low-slung modernist table in front of you, big screen splayed out, and having a server deliver cocktails and food to you whilst watching your favorite indie movie? The Living Room is a no-brainer and situated right in the center of the city, in the West End between The Ace Hotel... More

On Tuesday the movies are only $5 and you still have all the other great reasons to go to this theater to see both first run and independent films. Great staff, good food and drink to take with you to the movie, and comfortable seats.

Came here because of all the great reviews Living Room Theater had already received. Definitely wasn't disappointed - great movie selection for those doco/indie film watchers out there. Super comfy seats - we went to a three hour movie, so this definitely helped the experience! Very friendly staff. Highly recommend - the restaurant is gorgeous too, especially lit up at... More

Best way to watch a movie. Comfy seats, small but not too small theatres, great food and tasty drinks. Whats not to love!

Monday and Tuesday movies for $5. HH prices for food and drinks are amazing esp the middle eastern plate at $4. Comfy seats and they will bring your food and drinks to your seat.

We saw a movie here on a whim. Comfortable, cozy, small venue for seeing independent films. Big, comfortable chairs. We just had cocktails & popcorn as we were having dinner later. They offered seasonal fall drinks that were yummy. A block from Powell's Books.

An all around perfect experience to watch a movie. The food and drinks there are really good. I love their house-made ginger ale. I love that they show great independent movies too.

This was a great find - suggested by a fellow traveller I met on an Amtrak Train. Big comfortable seats with lots of room - very good food made just for us and delivered to our seats on "real" plates with "real" cutlery. The Philly beef sandwich on whole grain Panini bread was really good. Show prices and food prices... More
