Do not waste your money. This place is overpriced and poorly managed. You pay $25.00 for a two hour pass to use their tubes and slide on their runs. There is even a conveyor belt to carry you to the top. This all sounds great except when you get to the top you wait 20 minutes in line to come... More

We are season pass holders with Mt. Hood Fusion Pass, which allows us to ski at both Skibowl and Timberline. On January 10 Timberline was crowded, so we decided to head for SkiBowl instead. I was extremely disappointed at SkiBowl for two main reasons: 1) I was skiing with my 8 year old boy. The main chairlift that starts from... More

We visited here during a New Years visit. The place was packed. There are two restaurants there and both were so packed. It took us about an hour to get our food. The slopes were icy because there hadn't been any snow in a few days. I was impressed at the beginner options for skiers.

Tips to help you: (specific to the cosmic sledding) There are 2 hour sessions 5-7, 7-9, 9-11pm, and you MUST get there early to buy the tickets!!! At the ski school there was a terrific guy Scott Conners who responded to me in Fort Lauderdale when I first asked for information. He was wonderful and accommodating. He was my sons instructor for snow-boarding and I heard he was terrific. At the ski school registration there was a young man who was arrogant, insolent and unpleasant. He needs... More

Rentals boots were very uncomfortable not much cushion for myself nor the other 3 in my party. Because West Ski bowl is lower elevation and on the shade side, the ski areas are too icy to ski in. And my party had an unforeseen accident that prevented us from taking our lesson, we asked for a partial refund, because we... More

We spent the Christmas weekend there and had a subpar experience. Our biggest problem is with the traffic on a section of Rt. 26. On 12/26 we spent four (4) hours on a 5-mile stretch. The road surface was fine and there was no traffic accident at all. Mind you that section of Rt 26 connects traffic to/from two ski... More

I would not advise this place unless you are looking for black runs and you have your own skis. While the mountain itself is gorgeous, the place is extremely disorganized. It took us 1.5 to sign up for ski school and get our rentals and we came here right at opening. Lifts are doubles, old and very very slow. There... More

Great for night skiing will definitely will be back. Only down part is the way up it can be a bit slippery when driving so I advice for chained tires or a truck.

Oregon has some of the best Skiing in the world and I always try and carve out some time for Mt Hood when I am in town.
