If you get a chance to attend a Timbers game, DO IT! You either will sit in the Army, which means standing and cheering all game. Or you will sit in a reserved seat, which means sitting/standing and cheering all game long. The games are fun for people who aren't even close to being a soccer fan.

We enjoy watching sports. We used to watch baseball in this stadium, but last trip enjoyed the Timbers. Bought tickets online. Good places around for a pre-game beer. Took the light rail from a downtown hotel, but could have walked. Looks like a good view from all seats. Fans are passionate and friendly.

This was my 4th soccer stadium and Portland Timbers fans are fantastic! The Timbers Army kept it going the whole game! There was even a lumberjack sawing wood slices after every goal. Super easy to get to.

Weekend trip to visit colleges with my boys and we were looking for an experience. One of my son's is a soccer fan and suggested we watch the Timbers. I am not a soccer fan but I wanted an experience. Timbers were on town, check. It was a game to make play offs, check. I found tickets on Craigslist, check.... More

I am not a big soccer fan but a friend of mine has season tickets so I go to a couple games a year. The game comes second to just the theatrics of watching the Timber's Army perform. That is where the entertainment stems from at soccer games. They are worth the price of admission.

Even if you're not a soccer fan, enjoy the atmosphere of the Army. It's like none other! Careful where you sit on a sunny and hot day in Portland. Though they're rare, if you're uncovered, you'll bake!

My family here has season tickets in the family section and I went to see the Portland/Seattle game. The stadium experience is a lot of fun, but you have to be able to tolerate the noise especially when Seattle comes to town. Face painting ahead of the game is free, but I think a decent tip is in order. We... More

We are certainly part of the faithful soccer watchers and fans of the Timbers, even through the current tough season. Caleb Porter was a great coaching selection and he and the other staff have recruited some great player additions to the team. Tickets are hard to come by, but not impossible.
