Tours are...... more » Owner description: Our tours will allow you to experience, first hand, the best of Portland's beer culture. Discover why Portland is known as "Beervana". Tours are "boutique style" (no more than 12 attendees) creating maximum interaction with your tour guide. Guides are brewing professionals with knowledge of all beer styles and beer production. All tours are “eco-friendly” being conducted using Portland's Tri-Met light rail and trolley system - one of the finest in the U.S. Tours last a minimum of 5 hours and will visit a minimum of 4 (usually 5) of the best breweries and brewpubs. We begin and end in the heart of beautiful downtown Portland. Many different beer styles will be sampled and those styles discussed. Tours include a custom beer evaluation sheet to track and score the beers sampled. Beer ingredient samples will be examined and discussed to educate you about beer recipe development.

“Excellent tour, very knowledgeable guide”

There are lots of brewpubs and microbrews in Portland and this tour helped us understand them better. The tour was well organized using public transit and we shared tasters as a couple so we were still coherent by the end of the tour. “Excellent tour with Marc”

A definite highlight of our trip to Seattle/Portland. Marc was incredibly knowledgeable and the tour was as much about learning about beer as it was sampling. His tour includes well known breweries in Portland as well as ones off the beaten path we would not have otherwise discovered. Highly recommended!! More

It was fun taking your group around and teaching them about beer/brewing. Sorry, about your confusion on the pricing. I chose to keep the price per person low ($27 cash) so that you have the freedom to chose what beer selections and snacks to purchase. Other tours that are almost 3 times that amount have these pre-selected at each location.... More

What a great day we had! Marc is excellent and very friendly. The cost of this tour is worth every cent and actually is not dear at all. We learnt alot and visited lots of different places.
