It was a pleasant relaxing sail along Willamette river. It is nice sail under series of bridges like Morrison Bridge, Hawthorne bridge , Marquam bridge and so on. View of buildings at the bank of the river is also nice; for example Oregon Museum of Science & Industry. Portland Aerial Tram can also be seen slide along the ropes. At... More

We enjoyed our afternoon bridges cruise with Portland Spirit. Farrah and Ben were nice and entertaining, and the best part was getting some fantastic views of all of the bridges. It was obvious that Farrah had a passion for history and for the city, which made the tour much more interesting than the memorized speech you often find on tours... More

Check out their website. They have cruises for lunch and for dinner, some long and some of short duration. If you think you might get bored, choose a short cruise. The food is acceptable. Prices are typical for Portland. Rein in your kids with a talk on cruise etiquette before boarding. I loved the Portland Bridge cruise, just over an... More

We took a break at the stop while driving up the Columbia River Gorge. Went on a one hour cruise to the east on the paddlewheel boat. Reasonably priced at $23 a person. Nice and relaxing lots of Osprey and even some seals. When we got back to the gift shop We had an excellent sandwich for nine dollars. Perfect!... More

Boring river cruise in the afternoon. Not worth the trip! Very very slow, noisy kids - food was alright though. Not much else to say

Convenient parking close to the dock, and a short walk to board the vessel. The Willamette Star is a nice ship, appears to be well maintained, and the staff is efficient and friendly. Continental breakfast is good, but not exceptional. Lunch was good, but really can't compare to the sister ship, the Sternwheeler. Only coffee and tea available unless you... More

Hello ~ Thank you for your review! We are glad to know that you enjoyed the Lewis and Clark cruise. A great way to take in the sights and history of the Willamette River. I've shared your concerns with our Director of Services, regarding the microphone and clearer narration. We are implementing a few new ideas. We appreciate your feedback... More

The dining experience was really top notch but as a wheelchair user I could not go upstairs so I missed out on some of the view and ALL of the narration. Piano musician was good but I felt confined.

We took the bridge tour that included some different views of Portland as well. The thing that stood out the most in our minds was simply seeing bridge after bridge after bridge. The captain and first mate were friendly and professional with a little humor thrown in as well. There was nothing wrong with this tour, it just seemed average... More

Hi Brad, Thank you for your review of the bridge tour. We appreciate your feedback. I've sent this off to our service department to see if there is a way for us to jazz it up a bit and make the bridge tour of Portland more adventurous and leave our guest with more of a take away. We hope you... More

I lovey boat trip on the river, this should have been an enjoyable trip. Waiting in lines, standing feeling the pain from your feet to your knees to your lower back....being kept waiting for no reason, no place to sit....when they finally open the gate you are held up still longer, why do you ask? They are setting up a... More

This 2 hour cruise is a great Friday getaway! Boarding takes place at 2:45 and the cruise goes upriver from 3-5. Live music on the top deck is extra fun and the food choices are pretty good. SPECIAL TIPS!!! Get in line to board early. I would say by 2:15. Head immediately to the top deck and secure a table... More
