Thanks, Cari! This time of year a few tours do go out with just one or two travelers, and while many are nervous about being the only one on a tour, the vast majority come back raving about our guides. We're glad you had a good time, and are ready for summer, and a few more escapists per tour, to... More

We took the Explore Portland tour and had a wonderful time. They called the day before the tour, as promised, and pick up at our hotel was right on time. The bus was very nice and the tour gave us a good overall feel for the city, we did the tour on our first morning there and came away with... More

COLUMBIA GORGE Wine and Waterfalls Tour- We were in Portland at an unlikely time: New Years Eve, 2015. not many people are touring on December 31st but we'd made reservations with Evergreen Escapes for the wine and waterfall tour and, at the appointed moment, our van arrived at the hotel and, Surprise!! We're the only people booked. So we two... More

Very nice vehicle which was comfortable and spacious. Large windows which allowed for photo taking and great views during the tour even while driving. Our guide Daniel was very informative and knowledgeable. We did the shorter tour (about 6 hours - Wine and Waterfall) and it was nice to be able to hit the major attractions as well as a... More

The staff were knowledgeable about the area and provided great insight to the history of the various locations we visited on each of the two tours we went on with them. They were timely, professional, and overall great fun to be around. We will definitely look into other tours offered by them next time we are in the area!

A friend and I took the Wilamette Valley tour. It was a girls' weekend before a convention we both attended. Another couple joined us for the tour. Stephanie, our tour guide, found out a little about each of us and targeted the discussion and of the wines and the vineyards to our level of knowledge (which wasn't much). The scenery... More

Seeing the Columbia River at last (it was on my bucket list) with this excursion was a gift I gave to myself. The tour guide was delightful, well-informed and could tell us in detail about the river, Lewis and Clark , and the gorgeous surroundings in the area. For me, the nature in the area was beyond what I had... More

We had previously used Evergreen Escapes in Seattle, so were very happy to trust our 4 days in Portland to their expertise. We did the half day tour of Portland, ending at Powells Bookshop. If anything, I was slightly frustrated at not being able to go in the mansion- we just admired it, the gardens and the view, but time... More

This was an absolutely wonderful tour. Steven, our guide and driver, said he looked at the tour as if he was taking friends from out of town to see his favorite places, and that's exactly what it felt like. We stopped at not only popular spots like Multnomah Falls but also out-of-the-way spots where we were the only visitors. Beyond... More

Thanks for your kind words. Our Mt. Hood trip is beautiful this time of year as the leaves are starting to turn, and the volcanic rocks around Timberline Lodge are fully exposed. Your guide reported that you did some pretty significant walking up above 6,000' - unplanned bonuses like that, with new friends, make for some of our favorite experiences! More
