Description: Join us on our guided, culinary walking tours and taste your way through...
Join us on our guided, culinary walking tours and taste your way through some of Portland's most delicious neighborhoods from fine dining to food carts. Friendly guides make it fun, sharing stories of local culture and history, while you sample some of the best food in town. On all of our tours, we make 6-7 stops featuring casual eateries, higher end restaurants, a food cart, an educational stop, and a dessert location that reflect the way we eat in Portland. On tour, you may sample local craft beer, seasonal small plates, cocktails, tiny artisan cookies, micro-batch coffee, food cart goodness, and more, made with the ingredients & creativity that Oregon is famous for. You'll get the stories behind the tastes with your expert culinary guide. We offer tours in three of the city's greatest neighborhoods! Alphabet District Tour: Friday afternoons. Mississippi Ave Tour: Saturday & Sunday afternoons. Downtown & The Pearl District Tour, Thursday and Saturday afternoons. Our tour schedule varies seasonally, so please check our website for more details and to buy tickets!

My best friend and I had a great time on the Alphabet District & NW 23rd tour. Kelsey, our tour guide, is a 6th generation Oregonian, and she knew her stuff. Plus, she was just extremely friendly, and you could tell she enjoyed her job. We ate the most delicious food, accompanied by the perfect drinks: elk burgers with infused... More

This was our first time to the northern, west coast and we LOVED Portland! Forktown Food Tour, North Mississippi Ave Tour was so tasty! We really enjoyed everything we experienced. It has been about a week and half since we were there and we are still taking about the food! This is a must do while there!

We went on the Forktown Foods Tour "Downtown/Pearl District" tour this past Saturday. We were introduced to locations and foods we had never experienced previously but will definitely revisit. Our tour guide was "Heidi" and along with information on the food and restaurants we visited she provided lots of information about the history and agriculture of the area..A fun and... More

I highly recommend the Forktown Food Tours for anyone visiting Portland. It is a great way to get to know the city. We were in town celebrating our son's 21st birthday and the food tour was a great way to get familiar with the best Portland has to offer. The food and drink pairings were excellent and our tour guides... More

Great way to explore the Portland neighborhoods, experiencing it one dish at a time. Kelsey was our guide and she was very knowledgeable about the food and it's sources as well as passionate about sustainability. I would love to do another tour with Forktown if I'm ever back in Portland!

My sister and I went on a tour with Amy. I came into town for a conference and wanted to do something fun in the city. There were 6 of us with the guide. It was great to check out different restaurants and get a better feel of the town. The food had great variety and this was the first... More

I went on the Mississippi Tour yesterday and thorougly enjoyed it. Amy, our tour guide, did a really great job and I think she's a skilled guide. I like the historical elements she wove into the tour in addition to an informed understanding of the various businesses we visited. Its crazy how fast 3 hours goes by. I also enjoyed... More
