I had such a great week exploring Portland but really wanted to get out to see the waterfalls when I found this option. We were lucky enough to have SARA as our guide. Not only was she knowledgable on the history and biology of the different areas but she was a great person to hang out with. Would highly recommend... More

I'm inherently skeptical of any place with too many 5 star reviews. It is impossible to please everyone, so I have assume something shady is up. Pedal Bike Tours appeared this way at first, but (1) it was my husband's birthday, (2) we were in Portland for the first time, and (3) didn't have a rental car.. so the Columbia... More

A half-hour drive east from Portland takes you to Troutdale, entrance to the historic (1913-22) Columbia River Gorges Scenic Highway (the US's first such road), built to provide access to the greatest collection of waterfalls in North America. It was mid-week and off-season, when other tours were inactive, and we were doubly fortunate that Pedal Bike Tours made the van/bike/hiking... More

A must if you want to get to see downtown Portland. Daniel was excellent and knowledgable about the history of the area. There are other offerings including the Gorge and wine country. In spite of the weather, which was good on our ride, they are prepared for all weather conditions.

A bike tour in the gorge is the best way to see this beautiful place. Moving at a slower pace, you can really see, hear, smell and feel everything. Our guide Sarah was patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about this place she clearly loves as much as the tourists do. The weather was nice for our tour but I would do... More

We had a great morning with Daniel doing the downtown tour of Portland! Daniel was really good fun and provided us with lots of interesting stories as we toured the streets of downturn Portland. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, young or old! A great way to see Portland!

I'm an architect interested in city cycling infrastructure, heritage and urban design. This tour delivered all of the above in spades. On a chilly rainy day I was the only participant. The learning was fun and memorable - on a nice bike. The cycling route was varied and covered a lot of ground in the available time. My guide Sara... More

I've been to Portland several times but have never taken a bike tour. The reviews on trip advisor led me to their door. Their description of the pot tour let me know that this was an opportunity for me to learn more about this new way of being. From my first inquiry to the end of the tour I receive... More

Even though it was cold, this tour made my trip, Evan was the coolest/smartest tour guide ive had before, he explained how to work the bikes very quickly and easily and we were off, he took us around the city and made quick stops throughout and gave us small history lessons about Portland which was really cool, the breweries were... We wanted to see Portland in a new way. Everyone raves about the beer in Portland so what better way than to see Portland and taste beer but on the typical ride of choice a bike! We went the day after Thanksgiving 'Black Friday' but we chose to Opt Outside! The place is great and easy location to find. We... More
