I had a day to myself in Portland and was super excited to find Pedal Bike Tours offering an indepth tour of downtown Portland. We were really lucky because the day started off grey and foggy but the sun burned away the fog and our bike tour was conducted under a beautiful blue sky! Our tour guide, Daniel, was kind,... More

I took the Columbia Gorge tour, and it was a fabulous afternoon. I'd driven that road before, but it's so much better when you take it on the bike's slower pace--you're really able to appreciate the beauty. Our fearless leader, Daniel, was great with local history and facts and kept us rolling along at a nice pace. I'd highly suggest... More

I had a day in Portland after a job interview. Pedal Bike tours was a great way to see the city without having to do any planning or scoping out of cool places. The only tour on offer that day was the Food truck tour, and although that's not my scene, it was a GREAT experience. Saw many neighbourhoods and... More

Knowledgeable and friendly guide who shared interesting tidbits of info along the tour. Bikes are suitable for city riding and well-maintained. One of our travelling mates was not very confident of riding but with the experienced guide leading the way and keeping a lookout for the group of us, plus Portland being bike-friendly, we had no problems at all. We... More

Pedal Bike Tours offers a variety of bicycle tours around Portland, but the most interesting ones to me are the ones around the city. Whether you choose a brewery tour, a historical tour, or some other theme, you'll be with someone who knows Portland very well and will point out an enormous amount of fascinating stuff you'd never discover on... This was an enjoyable tour of Portland. We did the Historic Downtown Tour - listed as 3 hours though ours took 2-1/2. I suspect that was because there were only 4 of us and we were all able-bodied cyclists who could keep pace. Included stops in many of the major highlights, along with history of the area. The bikes were... More

Despite the weather closing in as the day closed, this was a brilliant way to see the Columbia Gorge and all that it has to offer. Our tour leader (Sarah) was legendary - she knows everything about history, the fauna, the flora (the things I know about local fungi and ferns is unbelievable). Do yourself a favour !!

I was the only person on this bike tour with Daniel (the guide), so it was a nice and laid-back experience. Daniel was super friendly and knowledgeable about Portland and its history. I highly recommend this tour!

I went on the Columbia River Gorge tour in August. It was amazing! What a fantastic way to see the waterfalls. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and gave us a lot of background and local history along the way. I would highly recommend this tour. It is about a mile and a half of hiking and 9 miles of biking.

Despite the 40 degree weather, I had alot of fun biking along the waterfront and through some streets in Portland. Our guide, Daniel, was extremely friendly and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable and cool, so it made our experience a very great one!
