I had a beautiful, sunny September day for my cruise to Astoria on the Outrageous. We left as scheduled and took a slow tour through downtown as the guide talked about the history of the many bridges and some buildings along the river. Once out of town they opened the throttle and there was more of just watching the scenery...

Wear a rain coat - it's part of the fun. Our captain was terrific - part historian part race boat driver. You see things not visible from roads, a nice perspective on the city. Highly recommend.
