So many creative stores. Spent an afternoon shopping and picking up some eclectic gifts. A really "different" mall, not filled with the usual stores. Has a food court, nothing special.

This is the main mall located down town. Most of the international / big stores are located here including Apple, H&M, J. Crew. There's a theatre in the mall also. Not a bad place to shop especially when you consider Oregon has no state tax. The food court is pretty weak though.

Free outdoor movies in the summer. If you're staying downtown, it's great entertainment on a Friday night. we lucked out and got the Grease singalong.

This square has lots of different shops and places to eat surrounding it. We stayed at a hotel right next to it.

Everyone says this is the place to see and hang out in downtown Portland but we found it disappointing. It's done in a modern red brick that is a bit garish and not easy on the eye. A tourist information board at the edge of the square said it used to be the site of a grand old hotel which... More

Worth checking out. Many stores including, in basement level, several with local products. Nearby is a Nordstrums outlet where we got a nice Coach purse at a good price.

Although downtown can be a little scary, parking was a breeze and the underground tunnel made access to the Mall so simple. The walkways take you almost in a circle and before you know it you have walked to entire surface of the Mall and didn't even venture outside.

It's the middle and shops to go to and hang out. Always groups of people. But if you can find it there's a place in the square where you can echo and only you can hear yourself. Have fun finding it! Hint:: walk down the steps, it's near the covering and chess set.
