Oregon Zoo is well done, all the animals are in attractive enclosures grouped according to their native lands. especially liked the lion enclosure and the new elephant lands look like they will be great. The zoo is small enough that just a few hours can have you round without missing anything .

We had six hours to kill before catching our plane home and decided serendipitously to go to the Zoo. It is easy to find right off the interstate and well make. At $11 per person it was very reasonable. We were there for two hours and the weather went from cold winds, rain, hail, snow and then 65 and sunny.... More

We knew we wanted to take the kids to the zoo on our way back from the coast. We did not expect the variety and type of animals that we saw. The exhibits were very good, not too small and not too large. Great info at each spot and the kids LOVED it - its' easy to do in the... More

4 trails of wild goodness! Go during 2 PM so you can see the polar bears in action. The leopards are also worth it.

Not too big but the right size considering it's not hugely populated or a resort destination area. Pretty standard fare for animals. Great for small kids as it's not miles of walking. Fair amount of food places at the zoo and several in the surrounding area. The train is great for the kids too.

This is a great zoo to bring kids to. We were really surprised at how reasonable the admission was for the quality of the attraction.

First problem was paying for parking when we arrived at the zoo. No discounts offered for AAA, AARP, or students. The zoo map we were given did not match the actual zoo and when we asked multiple zoo employees how to get to the lion exhibit we were given very vague directions. As we progressed through the zoo we encountered... More

I love zoos. If there is a city I'm visiting for the first time, and it has a zoo, I'm there. A lot of people have commented on the amount of construction going on. While we did not see the elephants, as their area is in the final stages of renovation, there were PLENTY of other animals to see! There... More
