Any visit to PDX should include a stroll along the Willamette river via Tom Mc Call waterfront park. You can walk for an hour straight passing under several bridges which can be accessed by stairs if you want to walk to the east side of the river, where the OMSI museum is located (also recommended). At the south end is the... More

Been to this Park several times. There's a nice walk where there are stores, pizza and ice cream. Each time it's been a nice walk. There's also a water area that's pretty fun. Food nearby Newport Seafood Grill was pleasant but pricey if you sit inside on an occasion we sat outside and had ducks all around trying to get... More

The park is one of the nicer amenities I've experienced in urban, downtown areas. It stretches for blocks along the Willamette River in downtown Portland. And for me it's also attractive as the location of the annual 4 (some years 5) day Waterfront Blues Festival, one of the largest in the U. S. This is my 3rd in the last... More

had a short stay in Portland, and I decided to go to visit this park and take a walk by the Willamete River. The park is located in down town Portland. You can walk, jog, bike, walk your dog, and there seems to be a lots of office workers who have lunch there. I did not find the park was... More

Lovely views of the Willamette river and the steel bridge. Relaxing place with people enjoying themselves! Had a lovely walk there midday.

With great views of the river I'd recommend this to anybody visiting for the first time, but be prepared for crowded paths and lots of homeless people. Bike riding is good for the occasional cyclist who's looking to take it nice and slow, but not recommended for more serious cyclists due to the crowding. Worth seeing overall though, I'm local... It's been a long time since Dib, Dib , Dob & Lord Baden-Powell but as the title says what was a great location, nice riverfront walk was ruined by some unsavory characters !! We chose to stroll from the Boardwalk north to the Steel Bridge on the Westside Riverwalk on a freezing but clear day. The Canadian Geese , US... More

Just a nice area of town. We rode our bikes through with the trees in Blossom. It would be a nice place to have a picnic on a sunny day. Looks like a popular place for the locals to run and walk.

We walked down to McCall Park; they were getting ready for a festival. I love the strawberry milkshakes at the one ice cream store that is down at the end. It's a wonderful walk on the multi model path and everyone uses it, watch our for runners, skate boarders, bikes, baby strollers,. The path follows the River and on the... More

The place is pretty nice. But now there is too many homeless people there... I've been there with my girls and the last time this bum guy was urinating in plain sight during daylight, we had to cover my little ones eyes and turn the other way... Someone really needs to do something about it and take them to jail...... More
