We popped in for a couple of lunchtime brews. This place had been recommended by Mike the head server at Texas Roadhouse in Eugene. He was spot on! The beers were excellent, full of flavour and not too hoppy on the finish. A great atmosphere for a Saturday lunchtime too! Our bass guitarist bartender was incredibly helpful and provided us... Portland institution. Original IPA has been around forever and is outstanding. Great food and nice area upstairs to enjoy some great Portland craft beer. Whenever in the Pearl this comes up as an option for a bite and a pint.

Went to Bridgeport for the first time and I enjoyed my visit. The beer, which is why I went, was good. I like IPAs and I thought both their signature IPA and the Hop Czar were decent. I tend to like IPAs even a little more hoppy than their beers, but they were ok. The prices and the food were... More

Good food and beers at a reasonable price. Apparently this is one of Portland’s oldest buildings. The food consists of a good selection with in my opinion something for most palates.

We were on our own tour of the brewpubs and thought we'd start here... we went to the bar and got the sample tray to try while we waited for a table... once we were taken to our table our server introduced himself and was happy we'd got our sample tray so left us to decide on dinner... we waited... We went here for dinner on our first night in Portland. It was within walking distance to our hotel. The atmosphere is fun and casual - definite beer bar! We ordered beer samplers and also a bottle of their Stumptown Tart (delicious)! For an appetizer, we had the pretzels with beer spreads. Oh my goodness. I loved the spreads. They... More

Delicious food at a good price. I had a salad which was under $10 and decent sized. Beers are delicious, especially the IPA. Friendly staff.

I've been by Bridgeport multiple times for there brews, a few times for some food, and have been on the brewery tour. Their consistently sold beers are largely what keep me coming back, ones like Hope Czar and Kingpine being my favorites. For food, I have largely stuck to their small plates happy hour menu, which is great for having... More

We've enjoyed Bridgeport for many years now. It's always been a busy place, great place for pizza and of course, their fine beers. It used to be an old factory of some kind stuck in a remote area of abandoned industrial buildings. A number of years ago the area was discovered and gentrified, and the brewpub followed suit. Although it's... More

this was the third stop on our Portland Brewcycle tour. The building is unique, and there is some room outside to enjoy your beer. I had seen their Hop Czar beer in Dallas, but never tried it as generally not a fan of Pale Ales and IPAs. They have a much bigger selection here than "on the road." Their Stumptown... More
