My boyfriend and I stopped here for happy hour. We got nachos, beer battered pretzels, and a flight. We spent around 3 hours just nibbling, sipping, and chatting, and the server was so patient with us. I loved that he didn't keep checking on us every 5 minutes (truth!no sarcasm, I promise). The atmosphere is very accommodating. The nachos were... More

We went her twice during our week in Portland. We managed to hit the happy hour Monday and enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich and a chicken sandwich. The beer is excellent. The second visit was on a Saturday evening and it was hopping! Large screen tv with football game, lively crowd, We had dinner and enjoyed salads and a squash... More

We recently took the free brewery tour at Bridgeport Brewery. Todd (the Brew master) was a very passionate, knowledgeable and interesting guy. The room where they store the hops smells amazing. Loved the sample tray as well so we got to taste a bit of everything! The hops were being harvested whilst we were in Portland so we got to... More

With so many choices for craft beer, how does one choose? Easy....order a flight and sample 8 beers. To compliment that, order some of their delicious food. Service is fantastic. Our server really made us all feel welcome and was genuinely cheerful and outgoing. The host was super nice as well, as were the food runners. I can see why... More

The place is very well known. Has ample space on the first floor with an outside patio. The second floor "mezzanine" is a great place to eat and watch a game. The beers are tasty and the food very well done. The prices were very reasonable.

We stopped in while walking around and exploring the Pearl District and really enjoyed the beer and the dips for the homemade pretzels. We like it enough to bring friends back a couple of night later for dinner and all had great meals and more good beer. We sat out on the loading dock/patio in this warehouse district part of... More

We popped in for a couple of lunchtime brews. This place had been recommended by Mike the head server at Texas Roadhouse in Eugene. He was spot on! The beers were excellent, full of flavour and not too hoppy on the finish. A great atmosphere for a Saturday lunchtime too! Our bass guitarist bartender was incredibly helpful and provided us... Portland institution. Original IPA has been around forever and is outstanding. Great food and nice area upstairs to enjoy some great Portland craft beer. Whenever in the Pearl this comes up as an option for a bite and a pint.

Went to Bridgeport for the first time and I enjoyed my visit. The beer, which is why I went, was good. I like IPAs and I thought both their signature IPA and the Hop Czar were decent. I tend to like IPAs even a little more hoppy than their beers, but they were ok. The prices and the food were... More

Good food and beers at a reasonable price. Apparently this is one of Portland’s oldest buildings. The food consists of a good selection with in my opinion something for most palates.
