We sampled almost all of the beers here and thought they were all of a high standard. Not the best in Portland by any stretch but you will definitely want to put this brewery on your list for a brew crawl... Food was better than average pub grub.

Good beer, as is the standard here. However, the food really makes this place stand out. Very reasonable prices for nice sized portions. The seared cod was fantastic, one of the better meals I have eaten in Portland. This place is large with plenty of seating. We visited on a busy Friday, and found room immediately.
A group of four of us had happy hour -- 3 beers, two caesar salads, mac and cheese, nachos, pepperoni pizza, hummus and veggie plate, onion dip and chips -- all for about $40. Fantastic deals and great food and atmosphere. The restaurant gets busy during happy hour, but friendly patrons are often willing to share a high top table....

After being there for two happy hours (great Caesar salad, yummy smokey mac and cheese, and delicious brews), we went on a tour of the brewery on a Saturday afternoon. Best brewery tour I've ever had -- we were the only two on the tour, led by a Deschutes brewmaster, impressive operation, especially the dumpster. Really great place. We went...

This is good place to eat (though it was better before they built tall housing around it) with lots of interior space, lots of seating and lots of choice. The beer is fresh, and it offers great snacking. You can get a sampler of different Bridgeport brews. I'm an easy drunk, so I stick to Blue Heron, a light beer...

This was one of the better meals we had on our trip to Portland. The beers were good quality. I found mine to be a little strong for my liking. My husband really enjoyed his. Good atmosphere with an industrial, modern look with an interesting clear bottomed staircase. I noticed a lot of brew buts in Portland are very casual...

Love microbrews!! Fun atmosphere and good beer. A bit pricey but worth it. Vast menu for the adults.
We had an afternoon reunion here with old college buddies, and it was a good choice. Shared a sampler, and each of us then chose our favorites to go with lunch. I had an excellent salad off the daily special menu. I can imagine it might get noisy at times, which might be what you are looking for, but it...

Nicely renovated and easy access to the streetcar route. Great service! I was brave enough to try a "Knucklehead" (delicious) but switched to "Heron" since I began to sway. Spinach and kale salad was a perfect lunch. It was really hot so we sat inside where it was cooler and less crowded.
We last visited this brewpub 15 years ago when it was in a rundown industrial/commercial area. It has been upgraded as has the whole area. We sat outside on the loading dock for dinner; very pleasent. We ordered the Steel Pizza which arrived promptly and hot. Excellent service. I had the "Black Rain" Ale which turned out to have a...
