On Saturdays at the PSU Campus, an easy walk if you are staying in Old Town Portland. Gorgeous flowers, fresh local vegetables and seafood, a few locally made items like candles and lavender oils, but the focus if definitely on the food. There were many pastry stands and a few restaurants that set up tents to serve breakfast and light... More

Loved the many assorted fresh produce, flower, cheese, bakery etc. vendors. Unusual items were there too like expensive mushrooms but reasonably priced. Bought dried lavender & wonderful bakery items. Go hungry & buy lunch from the many offerings. Enjoy live music too.

I'd read such great things about the PSU Farmers Market that perhaps I had too high expectations. It was OK but certainly not amazing. Having visited farmers markets across 4 continents it came out at maybe slightly better than average. Worthwhile on a sunny morning, but don't skip other attractions in and around Portland to visit. Work it into a... More

Amazing food, low key relaxed vibe, if you visit in the fall you will find apples the size of melons, incredibly juicy and delicious. Prices are a bit above average but worth every penny for quantity and quality. Come early, they close by 2 or 3pm ( as of fall 2012) Can not wait to come back! With love from... More

We were close to the Park Blocks visiting the Portland Art Museum and were drawn into the market and its music. The produce and flowers are beautiful and there are a few ethnic food vendors where you can buy a lunch and sit on a bench to enjoy it all. We were lucky to be there on a beautiful summer... More

The Farmer's Market is set up in the Park Blocks, right downtown. Portland is a very food-conscious city and many of the well known local chefs hit the market in the early morning when they open to score excellent produce and artisanal cheeses, mushrooms, flowers and meats. There's always entertainment, good food to be had, and lots of interesting stalls... More

I love farmers' markets and was not disappointed by this one. So many choices of farms with fruits and vegetables, mushrooms, meats, etc. The prepared food was amazing. Pine State Biscuit has a place here and the wait is well worth it. The prices were reasonable and everyone will let you sample before you buy, eliminating one from taking home... More

We were lucky enough to experience 2 markets while in town. The first was in Pioneer Plaza. The berries were beautiful and only $3 for a pint. You could also get 3 pints for $8. We bought some and ate them as we walked around. The other market was at Shamansky Park (not sure on the spelling). It was a... More
