Biked over to PSU Park Blocks from Riverplace to stock up on fresh greens for the week. To our delight, what was expected to be a quick jaunt became a full morning of entertainment by acapella masters "The Portland Timbres" (Clever name). We pleasured our palates with fresh brick oven baked pizza, a gooey blueberry pastry and a nice spot... More

I love visiting farmers markets whenever we travel to another state, being in the agricultural field and also a fan of local produce. I was anxious about the parking situation, since PSU is situated right in Portland, and did some research beforehand on maybe parking in a SmartPark location and taking TriMet to the market. But it was unusually cold... More

We had heard about the Farmers Market at PSU and walked from our hotel. The exercise was good and the variety of meat, fruit, produce, eggs, cheese, baked goods, honey, nuts and other items was excellent. We have to fly home so all the perishable items were off limits for us but had we been staying with access to a... More

This market is located on the PSU campus and parking can be a challenge in the area. While cash is king it is not mandatory as many booths use Square to take payments. Fresh produce, baked goods, food and music are in abundance and the scenery of the PSU green spaces are very pretty. While it is not the best... More

The food was great and many different produce items. It is more fun though if you have about 20 dollars in spending money or so.

I really enjoyed seeing this market. WOW what a selection of incredible produce, baked goods, food for purchase, amazing flowers, you name it. We need gluten-free food in our house and were amazed at how much GF fresh food there was at this market. There is no doubt you could eat your way from one end to the other, and... More

I cannot stress enough how amazing this farmers market is. I was blown away by such choice and appeal. It's a day affair so come prepared to for the experience of a lifetime as far as farmers markets go.

Whenever the opportunity arises, I look forward to a Friday night stay in PDX so I can experience the Portland State Saturday morning Farmers Market. In late August my Friday night flight back to the bay area was cancelled. I was so excited that I had a reason to visit the Saturday morning Farmers Market. Although I can't bring fresh... More

We stopped here on a food tour and ended up buying a nice selection of food to snack on in our hotel room (which fortunately had a refrigerator). My favorites were the Gouda from Jacob's Cremery, the salt bagels (unfortunately can't remember the vendor's name), and the heirloom apples (which came from several vendors). Probably the best food we had... More

Come prepared to shop. I can't comment on parking, as I arrived at the market via the Max, but it is so easy to access via several lines that put you in the heart of the market. There lots of vendors selling a variety of products -fresh fruits & vegetables, cheese, meats, beverages and lots of samples. There are options... More
