This was amazing in July. Fresh fruit from the growers including cherries, berries of all types and every high quality artisanal product you can imagine. A fun band played live jazz/funk. On the ground of the University.

The Portland Farmers Market is actually eight markets in different communities in the Portland area. However if you go to one, you definitely want to go to the Portland State University market. The market takes over the central park within the PSU campus every Saturday from mid March through December. This has the largest collection of vendors and the best... More

I love a good farmer's market & Portland takes it to a whole new level! Numerous options from flowers to organic jams & gluten free bake shops. Samples everywhere of almost everything & graciously provided without pressure to buy. Numerous food trucks with long lines of loyal customers. Fantastic arrays of blooms & bouquets. A great turn on of the... More

My husband and I are big into supporting farmers and locally grown food, so even though we couldn't take much with us (as we were on vacation) we loved walking around the market. The food offered was gorgeous looking- tons of great veggies, fruits, seafood and baked goods. Loved the friendly vendors and easy walking despite the crowd.

I had a blast trying goat cheeses, wine, mead, meets, pickles, honey, jams, and smelling the flowers! I loved this market so much more than the Saturday Market! Foods vs Art If I ever get a bigger grocery budget I will definitely go buy these fresh products!

This market is amazing! Organic everything and specialty food venders galore. We visited on a weekend trip so couldn't partake in take home produce, but did take a few beets home in the carry on. We ate our way thru ! Lemon berry creeps, bacon spinach tarts, chai tea, candied onion egg pie. We took a raspberry tart and almond... More

I've been the to Portland Farmers Market on the PSU campus probably over 100 times, and I always love it. Last Saturday morning I looked at it through new eyes -- of people who were seeing it for the first time. First, I was stopped on the street by a tourist-couple from Spain asking where they could get a coffee.... More

Great farmer's market. Lots of fruits and vegetables, meats, food vendors, food type gifts and interesting displays. The food vendors were serious about what they did. The food I tried was great and the others look delicious. Would visit this regularly if I lived nearby.
