Come prepared to shop. I can't comment on parking, as I arrived at the market via the Max, but it is so easy to access via several lines that put you in the heart of the market. There lots of vendors selling a variety of products -fresh fruits & vegetables, cheese, meats, beverages and lots of samples. There are options... More

The fresh produce was truely inspirational, at this time of year the fresh strawberries and cherries were selling fast. The range of fresh herbs and plants including tomatoes for sale was excellent. Artisan products were also of top quality, cured pork and lavender sausage stood out as an unexpected taste sensation. A must visit.

My Wife and I thought we would drop by the farmers market for an hour or so and ended up there all morning. There is so much to see, taste and hear. The food was great, try as much as you can and the music and balloon animals made for great entertainment during my coffee.

This farmers market is located in the heart of the Oregon State University campus on Saturday mornings. I have to say this is a must see in Portland. It's by far one of the best farmers market I have ever been to. The quality of the produce was outstanding and the variety of vendors amazing. We purchased olive oils, vinegars,... More

Wow, tents upon tents of food, flowers, pickled items, charcuterie, it went on for a few blocks! It's set along a parkway with plenty of shade and places to sit down and people watch. I enjoyed the variety of live music playing throughout the market as I devoured a chicken tamale from one of the food tents. I was really... More

This is a must see stop when in Portland. The fruits and vegetables are fresh flavorful and many unique to the northwest. The flavors take you back to how produce used to taste before mega farms cloned the flavor out of them. The peaches are juicy, cherries bursting with flavor, heirloom tomatoes, all sorts of berries, fresh flowers and salmon... More

This was the mother of all farmers markets. It was huge; it extended for blocks. Everything was local and the options ran the gamut from cheeses, eggs, charcuterie, fresh meats and flowers to every imaginable vegetable and fruit. There were food stations preparing fresh breakfast items and live entertainment. One could easily spend the entire morning here. Go early. By... More

Amazing experience. Lots of fresh produce vendors, baked goods, and "food trucks". Samples galore so come hungry. We tried jellies, cherries, salmon, and fresh juices. Check out Packer Orchards and Bakery, Columbia River Smoked Salmon and Draper Girls' Country Farm. Bring a bag (although the day we were there they were giving away environmentally friendly bags.) The Saturday Market is... More
