Great little neighborhood in a big city.

There are many small shops and hidden gems to see in this neighborhood. Visit the restaurants or go for dessert.

Rented a condo on 24th street and took full advantage of the entire Nob HIll neighborhood. It was fun, beautiful and full of excellent shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The street was full of people and there was no shortage of things to see and do. One of the best neighborhoods in Portland!

We loved walking around, and window shopping through the many stores. We mostly enjoyed looking at the beautiful homes. Next time I come in town, I'll definitely try to stay in the area.

I have stayed in a wonderful bed and breakfast in this area and you hardly need to go anywhere else in Portland except for sight seeing. I have dined, shopped, enjoyed walking in the gorgeous residential area, seen the city lit up at night from the top of the hill, and even gotten a massage. It is truly a lovely... More

Originally north of Burnside (formerly a creek) completed the Donation Land Claim of Amos Nahum King and plated as King's Heights a walking tour of this landmark would complete the view of 100 year old homes in the true tradition of the then newly rich of Portland. The streets are laid out alphabitically starting with the tiny Street named Ankeny... More

Lots of trendy shops and great restaurants make Nob Hill a nice place to stroll! The people are super friendly and you can get a nice espresso while shopping at Wills leathers. Stay at the Inn at Northrup and you can walk to 23rd street where the shops are in restored Victorian homes!

I agree with other reviewers there are some nice homes and architecture to see in the streets above 23rd. If the weather is nice ... and even if it isn't, just choose a street and start heading up. I've always preferred 21st over 23rd, and in recent times, it is even more true. Check out the old movie house (Cinema... More

Always a fun place to visit. Lots of little boutique shops to browse through. Pet friendly! Water bowls line the sidewalk for your dogs. Most shops will let you carry your dog into their shop. Great restaurants along the way.
