With five award-winning beers available on tap and bottled year-round, you'll never be disappointed. The view of the ocean, which is visible from pretty much every seat in this huge space, is worth the wait you might experience. The place seems to be packed no matter what time of day or night, I think no one wants to leave once they get seated, in case they miss a moment of the gorgeous sunset (or... More

Food was average and over priced. Service was slow. Four staff members were standing at reception desk. Many empty tables and people waiting.

Wonderful staff. Beachside table. Dinner at sunset. Watching Dory men launch off beach into ocean. Whale watching with a cool beverage on a warm sunny day.

The beer and fresh seafood is great, top it off with the wonderful view of the beach and it can't be beat. The fresh King Salmon, fries, brussel sprouts, and garlic butter is the best! Great service too.

We love this charming small beach town and the Pelican Pub. The food and beer is wonderful and the service always good. One of our favorite lunch/dinner spots on the Oregon Coast..... never disappoints!

The beer was unexpectedly sour, the food slightly overpriced and the waitstaff was not engaging at all. I will say that, on the positive side, they were able to accommodate a gluten allergy for food and spirits and the non GF chowder us reportedly excellent. Unfortunately, they had limited fresh seafood, which is why we went. We left feeling full... More

The server, Joseph, was wonderful at explaining the menu and the beer. I had the beer flight and liked them all. My friend and I shared a salad and the calamari. The vinaigrette dressing is wonderful and we even asked for the recipe, which was given to us. The calamari was good, but could have been hotter. Otherwise, the view... More

Stopped by on our way to Newport for lunch with the family. Considering that the quality of the food and beer (their own craft brews) were so good it was really disappointing that the service was so bad. The server couldn't answer simple questions related to the menu, we were never offered refills on soda or water and she also... More

Even rain couldn't mar the view from our window booth. I had a great burger with crumbled Bleu cheese, crispy fries and a Summer Surfers ale. My friend had clam chowder and salad...she loves chowder and has it whenever possible. She said this chowder was light and flavorful with big chunks of clams. The salad wasn't the usual lettuce and... More

I love Cape Kiwanda beaches however the only reason I go to this pub is because it is the only one near the beach! Downsides include overpriced food(&beers) &no happy hour. Good points include outside area, clean bathrooms, gorgeous view & onion rings ( even though overpriced).
