Owner description: At the Pelican Pub & Brewery the atmosphere is laid back, but we take our beers very seriously. With five award-winning beers available on tap and bottled year-round, you'll never be disappointed. But we make it our mission to always have some extra seasonal or one-off beers on tap to keep things interesting. Schedule a brewery tour to learn more.

Loved the atmosphere and food. Our server was fantastic. We would have sampled the beer but it was lunch time and we felt it was a bit early.

We were staying across the street at Cape Kiwanda RV so it was just automatic to come to the pub. Weather was marvelous so we grabbed a beer, Tsunami Stout ;-), and sat along the edge of the outside seating. Marvelous!! Had some delicious chowder and desert, Marionberry Crumble, and another beer. Great service, great food, very good atmosphere. Will... More

The wait was outrageous, but we were able to snag a couple of empty chairs at the bar. Looking around, there were tons of empty, open tables... so I wasn't sure why the wait was so long for a table. The first bartender that came by was rude and unhelpful. The second bartender was better. The food was a bit... More

Their food is okay. A little pricy for the quality. Their rootbeer is very delicious. My husband enjoyed their beer.

The view of the ocean, which is visible from pretty much every seat in this huge space, is worth the wait you might experience. The place seems to be packed no matter what time of day or night, I think no one wants to leave once they get seated, in case they miss a moment of the gorgeous sunset (or... More

Food was average and over priced. Service was slow. Four staff members were standing at reception desk. Many empty tables and people waiting.

Wonderful staff. Beachside table. Dinner at sunset. Watching Dory men launch off beach into ocean. Whale watching with a cool beverage on a warm sunny day.

The beer and fresh seafood is great, top it off with the wonderful view of the beach and it can't be beat. The fresh King Salmon, fries, brussel sprouts, and garlic butter is the best! Great service too.

We love this charming small beach town and the Pelican Pub. The food and beer is wonderful and the service always good. One of our favorite lunch/dinner spots on the Oregon Coast..... never disappoints!

The beer was unexpectedly sour, the food slightly overpriced and the waitstaff was not engaging at all. I will say that, on the positive side, they were able to accommodate a gluten allergy for food and spirits and the non GF chowder us reportedly excellent. Unfortunately, they had limited fresh seafood, which is why we went. We left feeling full... More
