Truly an unbelievable adventure! We took the Overnighter trip down to Clarkston, 120 miles one way and back again. Went through class 3, 4 and 5 rapids. Stayed at the Red Lion Hotel in Lewiston over night before our return trip back home. They fed us really well...great lunches. We saw all kinds of local animals; Mule Deer, Golden Eagles,... More

Wife and I did the 6 hour Kirkwood trip mid-August. The logistics were very smooth, easy to book, a very detailed email followed that explained what was to be provided and what you should bring and hot to get to this rugged and remote part of the state. I would recommend the Kirkwood tour over the shorter, 2 hour tours... More

Wow! What a great jet boat ride on the Snake River! Hells Canyon Adventures operates its tours from Hells Canyon Dam through the "wild" part of the river. Mark, the captain and owner, gave us a terrific tour with lots of interesting information about the river and the people who have lived and worked in Hells Canyon. The boat was... More

Outstanding jet boat tour. There was 31 in our group and everyone is still talking about the trip. We started with a picnic lunch that exceeded our expectations. Mark the captain and Bill did a great job narrating and along the way. My group enjoyed going through the class 4 rapid so Mark went through it 2 times for us.... More

We were visiting friends in Idaho and they lined up a two hour jet boat trip on the Snake River Rapids. The drive up the mountains was part of the adventure, and so beautiful, with the road twisting and winding along rushing streams, and over and around corners. There are great photo opportunities at every turn! It is a long... More

First of all, don't get me wrong...we had a wonderful time on the river looking at the majestic and jaw dropping landscape inside Hells Canyon. The reason for the low rating is because we didn't get the trip we were sold. We booked the "Wild Mountain Sheep Tour" from a brochure we picked up in Joseph, OR. The brochure stated... More

The staff at Hells Canyon Adventures is somewhat confused by We Love Oregon's review posting. We Love Oregon stated that they loved Hells Canyon but rated us low because he didn't get the trip he bought. It seems that We Love Oregon throught he booked a 3 hour lunch tour for $45.00. We aren't sure how you can buy a... More

Hell's Canyon Adventures allowed us the opportunity to do a partial day jet boat ride up the canyon from Hell's Canyon Dam. It was awesome! We saw bear, Bald Eagles, Big Horn Sheep, and gorgeous scenery! We also learned a lot of cool history from our jet boat driver, Bruce. Hell's Canyon is the deepest gorge in North America and... More

My family went on a trip down Hells Canyon NRA on the Snake River to Wild Sheep rapids, took two hours down and back. We easily navigated the various rapids, stopped at a settlers cabin/hut, and saw wildlife along the way, including several black bears. Mark did a great job as our guide, good stories, interesting history, and very entertaining.... More

Gosh, what can I say? We had a BLAST!!!!! We saw a bear, an eagle, a coyote and bighorn sheep on our one-hour trek down and back on the Snake River in Hell's Canyon. Hell's Canyon Adventures did an awesome job talking about the canyon and its history. We even got to go over class 4 rapids. It was so... More

Hells Canyon Adventures is great. What an amazing group of people! I have been down the Snake river many times before. Sometimes on my own family trip and other times we go with HCA. I wouldn't go with anyone else. They take care of you. It is a wild and scenic river...things can and do go wrong. Knowing that will... More
