With the expert docents telling you the stories and about 97% of the contents actually belonging to the 3 generations of the Steven and Crawford families, it is truly a must see when looking for history in this historic town.

The tour guides Penny & Jo-Ann were very informative and very upbeat about the history of this house. The whole tour was about 40 minutes and they were more than happy to answer questions and show things out of the closed off rooms. I had a great time and enjoyed it very much. Very interesting 1907 Craftsman-style house in Oregon City. The house stayed with a single family from construction in 1907 until it was willed as a museum in 1968. All original furnishings and furniture remain except for bathrooms and kitchen which received minor remodel in the 1940's. The house never received remodeling and so is nearly all original to 1907. Oh, my gosh, what a neat house and so much was saved so it appears very similar to how it was years ago. And I loved all the storage that they built into the house. How smart! The tour guides were informative, but maybe a bit too much. We were trying to visit a handful of museums in 1 day... More
