My daughter was married in the gazebo. What a wonderful location. It was a small wedding but everyone fit inside with no problem. Needed to be inside since there were gale force winds happening. Still got pictures outside too.

Great views and beautiful beach Easy stroll down the ramp to the beach. Lots of fun on plenty of sand, great for the dog.

I like this area because while I want easy beach access, I don't always want to go all the way down to the waterline. I particularly love this little park because it has all the amenities essential for a successful beach stop off...easy access to the beach via sidewalk. Lovely artist created benches ALL along the route in order to... More

A nice spot for a hike and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean! We walked down part way on the path, but because I have mobility issues unable to go to the bottom! Newport does not have direct, flat walking access to its' beaches.

A very nice place for Whale-Watchers. It's pretty cold when we were there although it's already early Spring. A nice beach nearby but it was too windy to play with the sand. Just had a stroll with my family along it.

Nice to be able to walk dogs in a grassy area above the Pacific Ocean. I have so many memories of walking here--during my first stay in Newport when I gave a concert at the Performing Arts Center in 2007, then countless times when playing piano at Café Mundo, taking my break to walk with my Golden Retriever. The park... More

This Park is next to Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. It is a neat park. It is family Friendly, more enjoyable in sunny weather, but open everyday.

Easy walk down to Nye Beach and great beach access from here. Good ocean views. Interesting whale bone sculpture in the park by local artist.

This quiet Vietnam war memorial is isolated and small, but perhaps more moving as a result. You can't miss it if you are staying in this area, since it is the only pathway down to the beach. Take a moment to walk into the memorial itself and reflect.
