Probably the closest you'll get to diving or going in a sub to be close to the marine wildlife. Divers interact with the guests when they are in, giving you an awesome experience

Visited as part of the multi attraction ticket and at buy one person get another person free. It's ok and a fun place, but not worth a full price single attraction admission. Wax figures are not the greatest, but I think kids would like it and its a good place to go one time. I do not believe it is... More

Right after you get in there, there are 4 doors, Marilyn Monroe in her dressing room but you can't even open the door wide enough to take a picture! The next 3 doors are sound effects hooked to a door knob on a door that doesn't even open. No wax figures, not even a picture of a recreation! Completly STUPID.... More

The wax figures are really poorly done and you can't interact with any of them expect the jhonny depp one. Its smaller and doesn't take long to go through

Had so much fun here! My favorite! Lots of life like things to see, it's amazing to think these things are made of wax! Fun for the whole family!

I have toured the Waax Works here in Newport, Oregon several times: 1 Wax Works tour on the pier walk area SF, California and Wax Works in Atlanta, GA. ; I really like the one in SF and Atlanta much better for the following reasons: Newport is "older" by some years and has become a bit dingy, small compared to... My teenage daughters and I had a lot of fun at the Wax Works. Lots of interesting information. Had my picture taken along side Johnny Depp. After words my youngest daughter had a wax mold done of her hand outside the gift shop. It was a good time :-)

I'm no wax expert, but this museum stinks. It's dark, outdated and confusing. At certain points it feels like a wax museum, which is good, but at others it feels like a haunted house. And then, suddenly, it's an arcade. What's going on here? This place makes no sense. I wouldn't care too much except that it cost me twelve... More

The quality of the wax works is about average making most of them seem realistic in some ways, but the wax works lacks a much needed cohesion to its themes: You have Lord of the Rings mixed with Star Wars and Star Wars mixed with E.T. Much like the Ripley's Believe it or not museum, this place is hokey, charming... More

The Wax Works was a blast. If you've ever been to the Dungeons of London, this would be a similar attraction. Super cheesy wax people exhibits. Make sure you try all the doorknobs in the Stars Hallway, which leads to real karaoke on an American Idol stage, which was playing Beastie Boys when we were there. There's a Johnny Depp... More
