Rockfishing trips are available year-round, but Tuna, Halibut, and Salmon keep us very busy from May through September. Very fun trip - especially when we passed through schools of salmon several times! Of 11 poles in the water several times we would have 4-5 on at once! All tags filled, which was good, and we got crab too. Thanks!

We went rock bottom fishing on June 17, 2014. I was a little apprehensive because of previous experiences with another charter company that wasn't too nice. The family wanted to go again so we read the reviews on the different companies and thought Yaquina Bay Charter sounded wonderful so we signed up. We had Captain Jack for our captain. Both... More

The company was top notch. Captain Jack of the crackerjack and captain Shannon of Gracie K really know their stuff. Bottom fishing with Capt.Jack and deck hand Brandon, was a fun filled morning. The boat limited out on rock fish. Prices are reasonable ( more $$ in Washington st) Halibut fishing with Capt. Shannon and deck hand Robert. Although was... More

This was our first time and we enjoyed the whole trip. The weather was a little wet and the water choppy, but Captain Shannon showed his skill and got us to the got spots. Him and his deck hand were very helpful, polite and wanted us to have a great time. Within minutes of our first stop people started pulling... More

What an excellent experience! The boat was cleaned and manned by a professional crew. They provided a safety briefing ahead of time and told us what kind of fish to expect that day. The boat can take about 30 people but they limit it to about half of that. That makes for lots of swing room while working around the... More

Our trip was booked with another charter but had to cancel at the last moment due to conflict. The charter contacted Yaquina Bay Charters & despite the very short notice, they accomodated our party for Rockfish & crabs. The entire team was superb & even when the enevitable suprises came up, they quickly took care of everything. We nailed the... More

We fished with Yaquina Bay Charters three times this Spring. Every trip we were on was a BLAST!! Great Crews from Captain Jack, to Captain Shannon, and Mary Beth, are spot on great people! If you fish a lot, or have never fished before, they are a great crew with great attitudes, service and knowledge.

I have been out fishing with Captain Jack and crew more times than I can count. Every time I have a great time. Captain Jack and crew are always laid back, friendly, and most importantly, know where the fish are. I would recommend (and have) them to anybody. Victor

The crew made this salmon fishing trip the best trip ever. Even the rough waters that day couldn't make it less fun.
