A truly beautiful spot on the Oregon coast. The campgound here is excellent. They have paved biking / walking trails to and from the beach and along the dunes.

We stayed in 5 different campgrounds on our coast all RV trip through WA and OR and this was our favourite. It is utterly huge and little privacy between sites but its still really beautiful and connected to nature. Everyone we met was very friendly and respectful. Good kids programming and several access points to huge beach and some dunes.... More

Lovely campground. Amazing food nearby, try Rogue Brewery! Campground facilities were very nice and modern. Lots of space between camp sites. Only issue, don't stay here during a storm! The place floods like crazy, we had to abandon our tent at 4am, as did many other's. I think it was built over a marshland.

it was our first time to the coast and I would say our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing, it is a clean and very friendly place to stay! Our neighbors were all very nice, we will be back here for sure!

This beach was easily accessible. It was HUGE! We all had fun looking for sand dollars, sea shells, sand crabs, and even an occasional jelly fish on shore. Watching the surfers was great fun for us Midwestern folks. There is even an area of the beach where horses are allowed. We LOVE this beach!

We were only here for a nights stay in a yurt. The yurt was great the bathrooms were your typical koa type bathrooms with 4-5 toilet stalls, and separate room with 4 showers that had two dials. One for hot and one for cold and then in the shower stalls was a bench to put your clothes on. The park... More

Whether you like surfing, beachcombing, wading in the waves, climbing mini dunes, kite flying...this beach is for you. My dog loved running into the water here as the waves are not threatening. While you should always be leashed, here you can be a bit flexible as long as your dog responds to you. Lots of surfers...fun to watch...climb the rocky... More

On our first camping trip to the Oregon coast we decided to try South Beach State Park in Newport, Oregon. Neither my husband or I had been there before and weren't sure what to expect. We stayed 3 nights. We loved so many things about this park. There were only a few negatives. The Good 1. The sites were spacious... More

I have stayed here in my camper truck over 10 times. I love it! Yes it's huge and there will be people camping right next to you....it's an RV/camp park. But, like most who visit the Oregon coast, you don't hang out in your camp all day...you explore! Summer months are going to be very busy so be prepared and... More
