Went on a Thursday half the shops were closed the other half were bland and or thrift shop like. Paint peeling and figures falling apart. Could have been a great place once upon a time.

Cool area for pictures with the kids....few shops to look in. Looks like the place is getting more deserted as time goes by. Too bad this isn't on the bayfront, it would do sooo well there! Especially if all the shops where full! There is a HUGE store that has a dragon on the front that is full of misc... More

We have visited Pirate's Plunder on all of our visits to Newport in the past 10 years. It was always fun and I have many little treasures in my home that came from this unique place. This visit was probably our last! The first thing that struck me was that it was so quiet! There are very few antiques or... More

You'll see exactly why locals avoid this place. It's eager beaver with Beverly Hills dreams... Go to a thrift shop instead

Well worth the stop! Tons of antiques, oddities and low priced coastal theme items. Don't forget to check out the fun shops behind the Pirates Plunder.

We have never left here empty handed. We are usually looking for Christmas presents when we come here.

Pirate's Plunder is a fun place full of treasures like sea shells, rocks, and little gems. Different vendors have their wares placed throughout the store, so there's a variety from... sequined caps to vintage toys, kitchen wares, and old tools. You might even find an old photograph of the cast from the Love Boat! After many fun filled visits here... More

Every time I visit Pirate's Plunder, I always find treasurers! The staff is friendly and don't hover. There is so much to see and browse through. Wide variety of things and good prices. I bought a teacup and saucer that I later found on the internet. On the internet it was three times the price I paid at Pirate's Plunder.... More

Pirates Plunder has more variety than the usual knickknack paddy wack xmas tree stuff. Look in the locked cabinets to see the truly interesting valuable stuff... More

.... pirates plunder something. How can I put it ? In kindness it is creepy... like someone found a lot of on paint sale (or it was free) they splattered it everywhere - this is not festive and cheerful and eye catching ... it just weird. So weird it's sad. Like a mini golf thingy in primary colours on little... More
